I'm pretty sure Triple H would've joined the nWo, I think the idea was to bring The Kliq, the nWo & DX full circle, Evolution could've still formed though, it could've come out of the nWo splitting as Nash feuded with Evolution so that whole angle could've still happened anyway and it would have been a proper end to the nWo, not just a phase out like what happened, saying that though the WWE likes phasing things out, look at Nexus, it just sort of fizzled out as Punk went back into singles comp.

This was the best storyline that never was. nWo tried to recruit Triple H. If I ever got the chance to ask Triple H a question, it would be what was meant to happen with this storyline. I can just imagine Triple H joining the nWo, becoming WWE Champ, X-Pac becoming Euro Champ, and Nash & Big Show becoming Tag Champs, HBK being the leader and manager. Sadly, it never happened...

The best thing out of this storyline would've been had Trips said no, then gets recruited by Flair to form Evolution with the same guys, plus have AA as the enforcer, then use Evolution (same situation, Trips the Champ, Orton the IC Champ, Batista and Flair as tag champs) to feud with the nWo, which would've been a twist on nWo vs. the horsemen. Along the way, nWo would recruit an up and coming talent to match with Orton.
