To be honest guys, as an American who greatly admires Scandinavia, I'm somebody who finds it especially frustrating when Swedes harshly criticize their country and culture, but honestly, the people included in this video don't do that. Yes, they may seem a bit complacent and take for granted the advantages of Swedish society, but it seems to me that that's probably the consequence of the lagom-based culture mentioned in the video and of these advantages having been present for decades.
I love autumn and the winter most. Mainly because I can regulate the temperature better during those times. But, I'm still here in the spring and the summer. Spring is nice though, but nice in the same way, autumn is nice. Spring tend to bring life to things again, but also the thaw annoys me a bit and the promise of warmer weather. Autumn is my favorite for some reason. It does bring death, but mostly, change, which hugs it's sister or brother, spring that brings back the life.

In comparison to the rest of the Nordic countries, the Swedish people seem to take their country for granted. Our 200 year of peace certainly has contributed to this state of mind. Due to the medial propaganda many people are also afraid of saying what they actually believe. Well, its about 200 years since Sweden fought a big war last time, when we lost Finland to Russia, after 600 years of companionship as one nation. Sweden and the independent Finland have strong relations today though.

"Sverige" (och finland) var nämligen Dansk fram till 1523 då Vasa skapade konungariket Sverige (finland ingick i detta rika). 1809 förlorade vi dem till Ryssland (räkna så blir det ca 300år). Finland var sedan Ryskt fram till 1917 då det blev självständigt.

@hjaldemort mja det kan ju diskuteras, upp till Stockholm bör de flesta kunna kallat det danskt. resten lydde mer eller mindre under dansk-flagg. Landmassan som nu är Sverige har funnits i miljontals år om det var det du menade? För Sverige som ett enat rike har endast funnits sedan 1523. Innan danskarna kom var det ju svea- , norr- och götaland och det var inte enat, därav kan man nog inte kalla det för Sverige i dess moderna mening.

@jebacjutube We're pretty much neutral. Nobody dislikes poles, but I have never heard anyone say that they like poles too. As long as you're not a muslim you will be nicely welcomed :) (Not that I have anything against muslims, just that many people in Sweden don't like them)

What i like about swedes (and Scandinavians in general) is that you all are very intelligent people. Also, your countries are very developed because of the intelligence and hard work from the population, as far as i know, you all didn't rape the rest of the world as much as western Europe or Russia

During the Thirty Years War, you guys raped over half of the Holy Roman Empire and could've become Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire if you wanted. The Swedish nation by then had become the leader of Protestantism and had amassed the prestige of a Great Power within Europe. Swedish Royal Navy was one of the best late 1600's. By the Great Northern War, King Charles XII had the finest troops in Euro.

@Ma010S Statistics from the Swedish Police show that rape, violence and some other crimes, have been raised 54% in 2009 thank to immigration, and now there are much more immigrants in Sweden, so that number has probably gone up. In 2010, there were 2 bombings in Stockholm. They were muslim suicide bombers. And no, europe was NEVER a muslim country.

@frumpman Don't get me wrong, I have so many really really nice Muslim friends.... But I also have met some muslims that Live in Sweden, but hate it! They want to change everything.... Those Muslims..... well, PEOPLE that think like that and cause ruckus should definitely go back to their country.... Also there is the problem of Immigrants (Not just Muslims) Who go to Sweden and don't work and get money from the Government....

not saying that some immigrants aren't arseholes, same with every ethnic group, it's humanity after all. And sure some crimes are grievous enough that banishment might be warranted. as for causing a ruckus though, as you put it. the real question is why people who would otherwise be assets to society turn into problems for it. It's all give and take. If we give the immigrants who come here a chance to be free, and be themselves same as us the problems will be less.
