  • I made this for dinner and it was out of control good! Thanks for the recipe!

  • Food Porn..!!!

  • what brand ricotta cheese was it that you used?

  • you two never let me down

i've made so many of the recipies you show

  • I'm so hungry just looking at it. yes, I'm going to try this.

  • Two Beautiful Women!

  • You guys don't look comfortable when each other is speaking " she's not explaining it well enough" look in each others eyes.

  • @kuntit24 (please no one take this the wrong way) my landlord, who is a wonderful lady, is indian and looks like this most of the time. I don't really think its anything like what you're saying. I'm not trying to be racist or rude I'm just telling you what I've noticed.

  • hello to both of you.. well the cheese that you mention is not available in my near grocery store, could you suggest me some other cheese that might work with this wonderful dish thx

  • @khushboo101

Ricotta cheese works really well because it does not melt. The only other option we can think of is paneer.

  • @khushboo101

What I do is buy a container of "cottage" cheese, it doesn't matter what size the curd is, and puree it in a blender.

It acts just like the ricotta cheese in recipes. I use it in Lasagna also.

  • @khushboo101 Try cottage cheese

  • 2 fine fine girls thanx for the recipe

  • That looks so good. I will try this sometime.

  • that looks wonderful! What an innovative way to use eggplant. I can't wait to try it. thank you!

  • I was just wondering, how do you decide which videos you put the ingredient lists in the beginning on?

  • @ocergnairb : no scientific reasoning behind that decision... ;)

  • ..i just notice that u ladies love salt... hehehe.. im gonna make that vegetable lasagna.. thanks for the upload

  • I can't have gluten so this is perfect! Looks sooo-ooo yummy!

  • thank u anjua and hetal

  • WTF? I was watching Avatar and this popped up!

  • I love eggplant rolls. We call them Rollatini, if you want to get fancy :-P I just love roasted eggplant. The skin is half the flavor, too! Thank you for doing justice.

  • can i use bourson cheese instead? your dish look very good....

  • @36gigi

We have not tried it but it should work. The texture will be different as the cheese will melt into a creamy sauce rather than melting and sitting over the top.

  • just a curiosity , hetal&anuja where r u from i mean which part of India?

  • @parakala1

Hetal - Gujarati Anuja - Punjabi

  • A little advanced for me, but I'm going to try it anyway... Thanks a ton!!

  • Delicious!!! thank you for sharing. 1LOVE

  • yum

  • definitely yum

  • For hetal,

ager tum mil jao ..zamana chor dein gay hum

bus dil kia so keh dia :)

    thanks

  • @ barodacyril- If you are using olive oil for health purpose try using grapeseed oil as its better than extra virgin olive oil and has high smoking point and i use grapeseed oil for everyday cooking which also includes indian cooking most of the time and doesn't overtake the flavour of the spices i use.The grapeseed oil has a pretty neutral flavour slightly nutty and its also believed that its hgh in vitamin E and lowers bad cholestrol as well.

    Hope it is useful:D

  • Would you ladies try to post this louder? :D its a good volume, I just like to be able to turn it up.

  • This looks soooo good!!

I'm going to try this,,thank you for posting! ~Peace~~♥

  • This looks South Beach diet-friendly...and yummy! Thanks!

  • i use olive oil for my indian cooking and it happens that by the timei heat the oil for my mustard to crackle the oil kinda gets smoky and looses its flavour do u think its wise to put my rawgaram masala ingredients into the jar of my olive oil and let it age for a while would the masala give out its flavour to the oil(osmosis) so that i can drizzile this flavoured oil on my indiandishses after i cook them? advice (am a bachelor who is just into cooking so sorry if my question is a bit weird..

  • We use canola oil for Indian cooking because it offers the heart healthy benefits of olive oil without the pungent flavor -- exactly the opposite of why you are using it :). This is of course our personal preference, but we feel that the strong flavor of olive oil overtakes the flavor of Indian spices. We've never tried it, but you could possibly warm the olive oil slightly, add your whole spices and keep it in a tightly covered jar. Try a small batch first :).

  • good food u got there

  • Look, I'm Italian, so I've been using olive oil almost all my life so far; if your oil gets smoky there may be two reasons:1)you heated it too much,or too quick(you must consider that olive oil burns at lower temperatures comparing to other vegetable oils) 2)you're using a low quality olive oil.

  • I adore eggplant and always 'soak' up recipes for them. I will try this. Thanks. :)

  • is it possible to use quark cheese instead of ricotta? thanks

  • Sorry, we have never use quark cheese before so don't know if it will work in this recipe.

  • HMMMMM!!

    yummy!

  • What an excellent idea for eggplant!! I can't wait to make this, it looks delicious. Thank you for sharing!!

  • my new favorite youtube channel...

  • wow im gonna try that because i love eggplant its so yummy

  • It's me again ! You might want to mention that egg plant holds no nutrional value at all. I might be wrong about that but I did read that somewhere. I guess it's like a sponge, you have to add nutritional ingredients to it. It's like a vehicle for other ingredients.I also think it's in the berry family of plant ?

  • FANtastic !!!!!!!

  • thanks a lot girls!!!! that was fantastic

    keep it up

  • Thanks 4 dis wonderful recepie.

Can u pl post some crockpot recpies too...

  • This a very good recipe but may be the salt could be skipped in the filling as it became too salty cause of all the salt in eggplant
