Actually untill you have picked them up they are fixed in their position, I have tried grenading skulls off their ledges or wherever they were and looking at it in theatre mode shows them not moving one bit.

@vipwhiteproductions your difficulty setting has to be on normal or higher... other than that I dont know why it wouldn't show up, unless you looking in the wrong spot.

@vipwhiteproductions U have to start at the complete begining of the level not at a rally point or notin, i had the same problem with a different skull (The fog skull) i killed the creature but it never dropped so i left the mission and re-did it and the second time i did it, the skull dropped so just re-do it, let me know if it works, if it doesnt plz let me know and yeah, just lemme know.

I want to mention to everyone thinking that the grav lift is not launching you all the way. Just as you hit the grav lift, jump, and it will give you max boost. You could have the grav lift at the lowest point and still get the skull if you jump launch yourself

@mrtheasskicker try driving a chopper up there and parking it near the last archway then if you have a friend in co op they can stand on the chopper. All you have to do is hop on top of them and jump up, its super easy once you get the chopper up there!

@jongmagee i dont kno if you kno this but the cowbell skull is a silver skull and therefore you get no acheivement,And ( i dont kno if you kno this either but) if you start up the campaine lobby and press x that is how you check your skulls that you have,its probably no there because maybe you are starting it up on the rally points you CANNOT get the skull on the rally points

@supermonkey102 the grav lift is sitting in a triangularish building that sits out in the middle of the plain where you fight the scarab. just go through the gap in the side, follow a small ramp and you should se a heap of those purple covanant weapon containers. the grav lifts will be sitting on top of those.

This is really easy to do... Just use a grav lift and crouch jump when your shot up there. Takes 8 seconds.

only the gold ones the silver ones either do stuff like one when you do a headshot with a grunt ther is shredded paper and kids cheering when the grunt dies and this one where it makes explosions bigger. you can toggle skulls in campaign option by pressing x while in the campaign lobby

you place the grav life on the ramp a little before the skull and jump into the grav lift, u get a bigger jump and should make it. i had the same trouble. i didn't want to do it the harder ways, i just wanted the damn skull

Whenever you defeat the scarab there is a large bunker next to it. Go inside of the bunker and you'll find the gravity lift.

I found out that you do not need a warthog or any thing to get the skull catch. You need to go to the back of that thing were the skull is inside that wall thing surounding half if is and there is a little hill and at the peek of it through a gernade and do a crouch jump.

I tried it, its hard to. heres what I did. when you jump get to that room where the skull isgo back where oyu came in, and there is a weapons cabinet in the corner, melle that to the room where the skull is, then get on top of it and trow the grav lift down, it will shoot the cabinet up with you on top, then just run into the hole where the skull is.

there is no achievments for any silver skulls but if you get every skull you unlock the hayabusa helmet for online play
