Nice sound - and I don't normally like the noiseless pups. Like you say, it must be a good combination with the Fender Champ 12. You must have dialled it in good too!. Thanks for posting.
@marshall2150 it's probably the wood selection; Hot Noiseless pups are a better pick for alder guitars. Noiseless pups sound way too bright in alder bodies, but they warm right up and make the usual Strat sounds (pop, quack, honk, blurp, snap, spank, etc.) in ash guitars like the Deluxe Player.
With them being noiseless and all, you can crank a good tube amp really fricking loud and then roll all the detail out with the guitar controls, and it's the smoothest Strat sound I've ever heard.
This is on my wish list..and dont know if i should go with rosewood or maplewood ? Any advice. All my ibanez's are maplewood, so i'm leaning toward rosewood, but someone told me to get maplewood...so im stuck between a rock and a hard place lol
want this for live performances, specially rhcp, clapton, jimmy and zeppelin stuff would you reccomend this? i mean those pickups sound like single coil without the hum or they sound like humbuckers?
@ivncdo0809 I have this same guitar and most people don't realize these Noiseless pickups are actually stacked like a humbucker so you can play anything from blue to metal. This guy has a good demo but just for the clean sound. There's not much versatility in a Fender "Champ" amp. They make any guitar sound like shit. Try it with on of the new Fender Mustang amps with the Metal 2000 setting and you will hear this guitar is a screamer!
nice sound ! - I just bought a sunburst Xaviere XV-870 after hearing it on one of your video's and now seeing this guitar I think I am going to order a tortoise shell pick guard for it because it looks great on this guitar.

@frets99 thanks for answering i have read also that these pickups are lifeless is that true?
ivncdo0809 1 year ago
@ivncdo0809 they sound like single coils with less hum but with the right pedals you can get good distortion sounds.

nice choice i have the same guitar. I would recommend switching out the neck pickup though if your looking to play more blues.
