  • Isn't this from the NATURE episode about Truk Lagoon from from 1984 that was hosted and narrated by George Page?

  • @chrysanthos66 Human remands breakdown faster underwater, while bones underground can be Preserved depending on where they died. rather than being Exposed to the Ocean and fish.

  • vagina is up ur butt

  • i hope they dig out these machines!

  • in my opinion

Missed in Action is on of the worst death possible

especially if you get lost in the sea and no one will never find your body

you are just food for the fishes...

  • @enomis9393 KIA or MIA, doesn't really matter. The young and strong having to die because of the old and stupid is always horrible.

My deepest respects to any and all lost soldiers.

  • is it me or sinked ship or aircraft is kinda scary

  • yeah imagine fish fights with tanks and planes:))

  • I remember a show that aired in the 70s were they traveled the pacific and dove on sunken ships in that show they dove on the USS Lexington under the coral sea. She sits under 365 feet of water level on the sea floor. anyone remember it.?

  • excuse me guys, the comment i left was not intended for this clip. it was for a movie called ''hell in normandie''

  • excuse me guys,,,, the comment i left was meant for another movie called "Hell in Normandie" p haven't seen this vid here yet

  • this movie is a very poor example of acting and film making. i'm sure not many have been able to stomach watching the whole thing lol to be honest i have this movie on dvd and it is useful to me as a sleep aid. i put it on if i cant sleep and usually within 15 to 20 mins i'm sleeping like a baby. so for that i say it's a great movie

  • oh no teh fishes usin our wepons >:o

  • : P

  • omg i wont to dive in them

  • ...no, leave them there just in case if the marine creatures decide to declare wars against each other, then, they can have something to fight with!

  • It would be cool if they could take them out and restore them. They could fill up entire museums!

  • same here

  • Right on!

  • they wouldn't because that is some ones coffin if you will

  • they are beyond restoring

  • Isn't it wonderful how machines of death become havens of life?

  • @Oddmanout84 you are indeed the odd man out on this one buddy

  • the war was long over by Coral Seas

the Japanese had only to hold on

    dig in

    go under ground

    retreating

all the way back 2 tokyo

    gotta go

    someone's dropping

    a love bomb on me

  • Far out - I've dived this wreck - was my first SCUBA dive.

It's truly amazing. I believe I've seen the aircraft too - just off the airfield in Munda - easy snorkling depth.

    Sigh. Good times.

  • cant beleive that warship on the beach, as if WW2 was 10-20 years ago- id thought that salt water would chow on that steel quick

  • yeah

  • My god...I am DEFINITELY learning how to scuba dive, one of these days i hope ill have one of these beauts up and flying again,or at least restored and donated to a museum

  • Or let the fish keep it? It is actually helping the marine life... :D

  • like a F6Fwildcat or zero f4u corsair

  • its like your a scooba diver, u look in a cockpit, theres a japanese pilot with his hand still on the stick

  • logically, there should be dead pilots but ive never seen one

  • why would there be this is over 50 years later they would have been eaten and turned to dust.

  • they would logicaly have been swept away by the current or marine life.

remains have been found in u boats for instance.

  • Ironbottom Sound is the graveyard for lots and lots of American, Australian, New Zealand, and Japanese sailors, soldiers, airmen, and Marines. Those waters are hallowed ground.

  • agree

  • dont forget the British we threw the dice as well.

  • @cdfe3388 I was on HMS Hydra in 1971 and we did some surveying in and around Iron Bottom sound.

  • I am seeking old parts from WWII Japanese Aircraft Mitsubishi Zero. Cash Paid , can anyone Help Me ?. Regards. M.H
