Ive just bought an 82 with very sim set up Forged internals, B&M 174, demon carb, ally edelbrock heads, BBK shorties MSD, x303 cam etc.....do you have any performance figures, more vids anywhere?....my car not arriving til June....car is in Ohio....lm in UK...so curious to know whats going to arrive
@giddyupv8 ok well, its not to often you see a roots style s/c on any 5L or should i say 4.9L to be exact and i should know because i own two mustangs myself
holly shit dude, nice set up. i could totally see that in my 69 stang. pretty cool about the last name, i guess us wagners have a thing for fords, huh
I plan on putting the same kind of supercharger on my 67 cougar which has a 302 and i was wondering how much hp/torque it increased your engine and did only the carb hit when you closed the hood or did the whole pully set up to the supercharger hit too? thanks
Hi Greg, sorry, I dont get on the computer in the summer, usually out cruising, but our city is tearing out and replacing my street, so unfortunatlly my season is done. I gained about 30% more HP outta my 302, Im up to a bit over 375 at the wheels, Summit Racing advertised this blower to put out 25-40% gained HP, along with the cam, alum. heads and carb Im running ,she is very responsive. If you want, check out a video my son made of my II, search " my mustang cobra II" Good luck with your car.
what kinda of supercharger? how much horsepower? and how much spare room do you have with that distributor? please answer

dude you put your hand on the dis cap that didnt shock you shitless and also how you get the supercharger to work on an older 302
badd780 2 years ago
With the proper newness and fit you will never get a shock unless it is wet.
If you get a shock - either your wires are wrong wires - in wrong or worn out. Get new wires or check why they aren't seating right.
You should not get a shock period - also of course the coil wire needs to be done properly
