lol $179.99 you can buy a real digital camera that can take SD cards and takes pics AND videos. some companies overcharge for things. my Canon Power Shot was 145 bucks and I can take pics as well as video. I can do a few other things too. it would make a good backup camera though.

@Appleaddict22 yes just import the videos you want to the desktop or anywhere you want then import to imovie (i think, thats what i do to use windows movie maker)

to change the batteriess, you slide the plastic cover off the front, it should clip off, the take out the batteries and put new ones in

I dunno, switch the video to full screen and you'll see a distorted and blur image with low brightness and color... that's what I see, even the normal view isn't that good and if the idea is to upload videos to youtube, most videos in youtube look very low quality after you upload them and very few cameras keep the video qualiy after uploading, I dunno I don't think this one is that good.

dont buy this camera, ITs not worth your money at all. it deletes all your videos saved on your computer and you no longer can tranfer videos to windows movie maker to edit.

It looks like a nice camera but you will be sick of it in a week. save your money

I have the flip ultra and the volume is way too low direct from cam. Haven't had a chance to plug into PC because USB is mounted opposite direction at bottom! Is mine defective or does it just sound much better through PC speakers? You sound loud and clear!

i can't get the Youtube feature to work off mine. but i can still upload the vids normally so it doesn't really detract from the usefullness of this camcorder - i 'm glad i got one.

the Flip Video is a nice device. You can share it and edit your videos! Email your videos, create a movie. its a very great device to take around. No more heavy cameras! The camera is slim (thin,skinny etc.) Take it anywhere....Have fun!!!!

These things are amazing! Not much to the actual comcorder, but the quality is great and you can edit the clips on the computer (which is what's important, right?) . I have the older 30 minute model that I picked up used at an unclaimed baggage store and I highly recommend it!

I agree. It is a great little camera, I picked one up last weekend. I was impressed by the video quality, better than I expected. I believe there are VERY similar products by another company that uses removable memory sticks, that might be nice considering how cheap they are these days. Hopefully this product will be durable, I'm enjoying it so far.
