@TheShadowParliament Yeah... you're out of touch with people in my part of Canada at least. We've been separate from them for hundreds of years and a Canadian identity, secondary to stronger regionalist non-American identites in places other than Ontario, has formed. If they invaded us they'd have a persistant problem with terrorism from a neighbour too geographically close to them.
I am a Japanese born Chinese who have become Canadian citizen lately
I thought the question to myself, if We are the visible minority, aren't we ought to follow the acceptable rules/ norms of the majority (Anglo,Franco) in Canada ?
the answer is "No, we may follow their version of democracy but we need to create shared consensus among POC and the majority,
creating self-identify as CBC/JBC is not to ISOLATE oneself but to come to term with oneself as member of Canada
@angryaznman i can agree. i always think it is laziness opposed to identity crisis. it also seems to me that they do not care. and they do not care enough to do something. if it make you feel better to do whatever you want to do then okay, be with it then.
@angryaznman IDK no one will care so only you will have to make sense of it. they create the stereotypes and enforce it on upon themselves. it is their fault. you can always alter you fate by taking action. for all those things you cannot have control over, your identity and your destiny you can. well they made that decision.
@mollykjody for sure. they make no effort at all to learn to improve spoken chinese or learn the script. then they turn around and complain about self identity. as if someone forced them not to learn their own culture ROFL.
@mollykjody i am hk chinese. my grandmother was half white but all marry pure hker so im only 1/8 white now. i dont even bother to tell anyone because its so insignificant.
@angryaznman i am on a personal journey to rebuild my identity. i am not personally chinese but i thought this was something i can bounce off ideas. i am an international student living in the states so it is hard to find retention programs. UM, you have really positive and optimistic thinking. i am all about change action promotion and just being a go-getter! go luck to you and your identity. CBC is an ugly word you choose to label yourself and something you accept from other.
I gotta say you made a cool video- I can relate somewhat from a native point of view, can't speak my native tongue either which is cree- Found ur vid to be comforting that it's not just a native american thing
they look like they want to express themselves and yet they see conflicts in every corner of their lives, u know what, be proud of ur culture and learn to speak ur native language!
@treasonwarrior seems to be too they have low self-esteem. they just accept what others call them. so who fucking cares. they obviously do not care. let them suffer. if it bothers them then do something
Damn, this videos hits so close to my heart. Thank You.

There is no such thing as a Canadian, such a title will cease once Canada is annexed into the American Empire...as it always was meant to be.
