Die Niederlande hier!Congratulations with an almost professional documentary with the right haunting /touching music that the old vessels deserve.I went in 1982 for a trip on the Nordstjernen &also the Kong Olav and 4 more complete trips on the Lofoten and (again)Nordstjernen.Nice to see the old Harald Jarl(now a cruiseship)and the old Finnmarken(now ashore as museum) passing by.Cannot remember Gamvik though,or maybe for handing over fish only!You have done a good job to keep the memory alive!

gut gefilmt, schön geschnitten, perfekte Musik! Schön, den Zustand von vor 20 Jahren zu sehen, von den alten Schiffen sind ja nun nur noch Lofoten und Nordstjernen übrig... Besuchen Sie Europa, solange es noch geht :-)

HERZLICHEN DANK for showing me what it was like to sail on those lovely older Hurtigruten ships, which I'll never be able to travel on. I almost cried seeing so many of them here. Private balconies and Jacuzzis may be nice, but the newer ships will never have the charm and warmth of the older ones. Danke, danke, und danke for taking the trouble to transfer your home movies to Youtube. And your choices for the music were perfect! Are they selections from a film score?
