Why does everyone think South Africa has no education/money/proper clothes/cities/anything that "Western" countries have?? It just goes to show how stupid people can be! HYPOCRITES!! No its not. You quite obviously didn't take much care in where you went. It's the same in every country. There are places tourists should and shouldn't go. But yes you are right the crime is a problem there because of the bad government. But that doesn't make it a poor third world country or a piece of shit.
