Exactly, we cannot perpetuate the current educational system with it being another product shaped and constructed based on maintaining the gears of this unequal system in place. Education is a key point to create a world that is best for all as it all begins with individuals that stand up to realize that we are not 'powerless' to change the system, we just have to learn how to work together as one. Yes, and the school committee meetings talk about "data collection" as a means to find solutions. Where the data collected does not look at the overall structure of society based on profit and survival. The focus in profit is on division to conquer, this frustrates life expression. This forces natural rapid empathetic life ability into a single denomination. Education is a process of domination, the outcome IS thus frustrated behaviors.
We are forcing our children/life into a survival game.
About the history part - I'm a college student and most professors only care about how much you can memorize facts and dates, not about what you can learn from a particular event. So I totally agree with you when you said that we're making system robots. Something's gotta give.

We've gotta give ourselves back to ourselves by/through taking self-responsibility to no longer accept these types of systems to exist & play out through our own submission - as they're merely a reflection of 'who we are' as humanity - thus we can stand up & create this world into what is best for ALL by seeing/realizing who we are as creators of ourselves/this world.
