  • THESE POOR BASTARDS (LITERALLY POOR) had the highest morale of any Army in WW2..........................Russian Army strikes fear even today

  • Sorry it was not a German parade in Moscow instead .

  • On the long retreat back to Berlin and Vienna, they exacted a terrible price on their adversaries. If the astonishing advance of the German army into Ukraine and Caucasus was, as many of them realized, a deathride, the same must be said about the bloody advance of their opponent. The outcome of the war between the two dictators was the battle of the death for both.

  • That the war destroyed both empires is still poorly understood, masked by remarkable abilities of Stalin to fool the world believing that his fantasies were real. He [Stalin] not only built castles in the air, he persuaded people to live in them. Hitler came very closely to winning that war, and in the eastern front, his soldiers came within an ace of winning outright.

  • eternal glory to the Red Army. The army that smashed the Hitlerite invaders!

  • Who can tell the name of this marching song at the beginning?

  • Eternal Glory to the Heroes.

    Thanks for the great video.

  • The whole Europe (East Europe included) owed great deal to Russian war effort. It is no doubt that a Nazi domination in Europe is far worst than the Soviet domination during cold war.

  • I love seeing this and try to pick out the changes. Where they are marching through, is a strange street that part of it was redone this year between March/April 2008. But the buildings haven't changed that much.

  • wow great video! Without the Red Army the world would ruled by the Nazi. There would not be a D-day or a quick liberation of Europe.

A great victory and battle fought by the Red Army that forever written down in the history book that marked a fine line between evil and good.

  • You dont understand what this parade ment to the all russian people. Hitler said that his troops will salute him at the red square in very same time this parade took place - The 7th of november 1941. He became mad when he saw this parade. In that time he didnt understand - he already lost...

  • long live the heroic red army !

    CCCP for ever !

  • very interesting...a piece of history..

  • Horse is the best alternative transport from vehicles because they won't get stuck in the muddy/winter roads and they don't require petrol or diesel lol!!

  • Hails from Greece! Socialism will rise again from the ashes!

  • They have horses. HA HA HA HA!!! There army is still kick ass tho. Kill those Facist!!!

  • Horses were the best on winter Russian roads.

  • Learn history, darling. SS had horses, Americans had horses.

  • horses are smarter than cars

  • i wonder how many of these heroes of 1941 did not return. They are magnificent. Bob M

  • Probably quite a few. IIRC, the troops from this parade went from Red Square to the front lines outside of Moscow. But it was these guys that played the pivotal role in stopping the horror of Nazi rule from spreading any farther than it did.
