Abiotic oil is a hoax. Wells in depleted oil fields will sometimes refill with oil that was not pumped out originally if the field is allowed to rest. The field however never produces at the rate that it originally did. All new oil fields have pressure in them, this includes on land and off shore.

We can't even properly maintain the roads, bridges, water, sewer, schools and what have you now. The finances of governments are shot. The sovereign debt being one of them.

As B4 mentioned, inferior technology is THE concern, in Germany the Autobahn barely needs any maintenance at all compared with the US's highways, Why?
