another time, I deal 777,7,A, about $20 in the pot, 2 players left, once the Ace hit someone at the table calls out "dont bet, dont bet, no more rack" 1st guy thinks about it for abit then announces "All In", 2nd guy and others start laughing, then he calls obviously, I cant even remember what they had because it didnt matter it was automatic split. So then I had to take $8 (max rack) out of the $20 pot and split the rest, instead of the $2 I wouldve taken had he just checked.

1st time I dealt it, it was 666,3,6, about $40 in the pot, two players left. 1st player bets about $30, 2nd player goes all in for just over $100, 1st guy looks sick eveyone thinking 2nd guy must have an Ace, eventually 1st guy calls and says I just have a J, he had (J-10 iirc), 2nd guy rolls over pocket 4's, I start passing the pot to the 1st guy (J-10), 2nd guy says to me, "hey Ive got a pair" lol

The chance that someone misread their hand or thinks you're bluffing and call you with a face card makes it worthwhile to take your hand, put them on your chips and put them in the middle. That's all he had to do. And the real tragedy is she would've called any bet he made.

Whenever you have the stone cold nuts and are last to act, you bet. Mathematically, that is the only way you get more money and there is ALWAYS a chance you will get called by a worse hand. In this case, had he shoved river, she calls thinking its a chop, and game over.

If she's just gonna call with an ace, then the next time something similar happens, he can bet any two cards.

Also, she can call with something weaker than an ace, if she thinks he can do it with a king ( or if she thinks he can do it with any two cards, for the above stated reason ).

Plus he might get information. Why not bet? Either you make chips or information. At worse? You split/she fold, and you lose a huge 3 seconds. Not like she'll think 10 minutes in that hand.
