@PrivatePranksters I left SJPP late May and so was walking in Spain in June- in what happened to be the coldest June in Spain for ten years I gather! I posted home my good wind jacket in Estella thinking I wouldn't need it, and ended up wishing I still had it many times! The weather did not start to get warm until I had nearly finished crossing the Meseta. But even then, it only reached low 30s on the warmest days, so was not too hot, and I tended to start early. Some days were quite wet.
I am glad that you enjoyed seeing places you had been Evilv1951. I know that I enjoy looking at other people's videos of the Camino and have the same experience of recognising the places.
The music is actually something I made up using Garageband on my Mac. I am not very experienced at using Garageband so it was a bit of a hodgepodge musically, but I guess everyone has to start somewhere!!!
Nice photos. I think I must have stood in nearly the same spot to take our photos. It was fun to recognise the shots you took. Pietje. search 'pietje and johan' for our effort.
I know that I like to recognise the places in other people's videos as well, and find we have often chosen the same kind of spots! It is always interesting to see how different places can look in different seasons though.
Keith, Great to hear from you!!!!! It took me a while to 'settle down' back into 'normal' life after walking in so many beautiful landscapes. Still not sure I have settled really, but having done such a long walk, people expect me to be a little 'eccentric' now anyhow!! I obviously never took any photos of you, or you might have seen one here!
But, of course, you probably recognised more than a few views of Lyne and Denis walking ahead of me.... I was always such a slow coach....but the tortoise got there in the end!!
Thanks sskgbr.... I really enjoyed looking at your photos as well. We walked the same path... I see you have several Camino videos up and I plan to watch them all later.
Hi, how was the weather for you? I am planning on doing the walk in late may as well.
