Viet (Yue) is not Chinese. Chinese has origin from yellow river while Yue has origin from Yangzi river and Red river. Chinese Hans is only 2000 years old while our Viet (Yue) is 5000 years old or more. Miao ethnic in one of 56 ethnic of China, I know, and have also Japanese ethnic, Korean ethnic , Russian ethnic ,..in China. So it is simple. Have also Miao ethnic in Vietnam, in USA , in Thailand.

If China free for Tibet , all of world will make diplomatic relationship with Tibet country. It is fact.
Because China still used military to prevent independent demand of Tibetan, and China has huge market which western want. So governement of world still have strong action . But as you see all of people in world except Chinese invader supporting independence of Tibet country.
Chinese empire has gone, don;t act as if you still in feudal period.

If you read history, you will know “ after Si You was Huang Di killed , Miao run to south and form three Miao kingdoms. And after that, Miao has war with Han. Miao runs far and far their homeland in yellow river, to Yangzi river. And because war with Quing dynasty, many of them continued run to Vietnam, Lao and Thailand.
Miao only came to Vietnam from about 300 years ago whem Manchurian rule China. We help them alive,if not Manchurian even can kill all of them.

Miao people living a lot of different places southeast Asia, Also if you see the real Vietnamese people are different in the present so called Vietnamese. Miao people lived in many places in Southeast Asia, but they migrated from South China 300 years ago. And origin of Miao is yellow river near Chinese tribes.

Why Han Chinese don’t let Miao independence, because they are living in their homeland. Our Vietnamese help Miao when Han Chinese killed them. So I don’t see any bad with Miao people in our country. They still live well.
