seems realistic....we have indeed had storms of this style,and the movement seems to match that of a storm associated with the approach of a strong low pressure system sliding ESE along the California coast...dragging with it a much colder air mass...an El Nino-type weather event, much like this past winter. Very impressive work!!
I live in Gardena,Ca near la Gardena is the safiest place ever never had bad storms in 2 years

When I lived out in the Frisco Bay area for 6 years we never got any of these. Now that is rare.

Rare is right. On the East Coast, in the Midwest, and in the South, these types of warnings are common.
