  • Epic track !!!

  • aint it a part of " concept in dance" LP?, Nevertheless MWNM is one of my best trance performers ;D

  • this has potential for ambient / progressive / chilled trance but the PSY-CRAP ruined it.

  • Man With No Name remains one of the most prolific musicians of our time I had the privilege to work with him his tunes turn sound into an orchestra x

  • what planet is this again?

  • @xjess310x the planet of awesome

  • g00000d

  • Too slow

  • Zajebisty!!

  • The bass is being utterly destroyed by the MP3 compression :( The resonance of that bass is supposed to split your head in half. Here's how it actually sounds:

    youtube.com/watch?v=ppv4b66lGBg

  • The picture is wonderful... Where can I find it? (Also the song is great, lol)

  • had the chance to see him playing live... not from this world.

  • חגשמח

  • Where the fuck am i??

  • long live mwnn!

  • sugoy desneeeeeeee

  • Yes!

  • Like traveling in space. Great psy track!

  • супер трек!!!

  • King With No Name!!!!!!!!!

  • timeless, essential

  • i shoulda known about this shit when i was writing my sci-fi... nothing works inspiration like music. ah well, i had some pretty spaced out music allready, so... this will be for next ;D

  • Goa is more ethno-influenced then psy, with a lot off fluit, bongo and other live instruments, then psy has electric, "acid" sound, more hard and "clubby". Space and aliens shit, u know...

  • @Tomhetted ya like Goa is more like related to shiva/india and pys to space things

  • cosmotrance :)

  • 1:17 psytrance

  • isn´t psytrance a slightly different genre?

When it came out in mid 90s i would classify this song as ultra upfront clubtrance.

  • its just goa with more of a trance influence, the elements of goa are still very solid though. "goa-trance" would most likely be correct

  • @Chakrila

i see, thanx for the info.

funny with all these labels, goatrance psytrance clubtrance etc etc, because the inspired artist just did his best and landed somewhere between the labels of the critics.

  • yeah, people that listen to it tend to care more than the producers lol. i dont think "club-anything" is a genre though, since clubs will play pretty much anything.

  • @Chakrila

in the 80s some were talking about club-disco as opposed to the disco you would hear on the radio. it was deep quality versus pop.

it is different with trance because trance is a club-fenomena and not a radiofenomena. so, yes, it would probably be more correct to refer to Evolution as "HQ-trance"

    !!!

  • just to go back to this era for a day, off my face, 30,000 like minded collective souls, ina field somewhere in devon, ohh my...

  • this tune is like a journey into the cosmos.

  • @ruuku00black obviously

  • Mystic vibes!!!

  • if you like your retro - check out 'italia 90 - dance music from italy '- those were the days - F**k me!

  • dLot of new artists shoul listen to this closely and understand the structure of this song ...

how mulitple different melodies are presented simultaneously but finaly form 1 and only beautiful track in perfect danceable harmony without never loosing any groove all along the story ... :-)

  • 1 of the most famous classic anthem of the early 90's goa trance (1993)

& also to me, 1 of my all time favorite...

perfect groove, purity of sounds, MWNN typical bassline, clever use of tb 303 & amazing melody...

I remember people shouting and going mad when the sound of the intro appeared in the air of those magical parties ... -)

    peace to all

  • he has no name becouse he comes from space

  • i just came back from Ozora.Man with no name was closing the festival and it was the first time i have never heard his music before.somewhere in the middle of his set tears just started to run out of my eyes.music was just fantastic.all you had to do was to close your eyes and it took you to another dimension...no drugs needed:) my compliments to the MAN!that was pure psychadelic experience.

  • 100% right u are, i was there too, and had the same feelings. But i wont forgive him, that he didnt play Azymuth, wich would be the most perfect song at the end. :(

  • wanna desstroy the world the way it destroyt me.

  • one of the greatest goa tracks of all time

  • temazo mostruo

  • cool picture

  • this has echoes of teleport, fucking class this is even better i never heard this before today

  • Ouais!

  • 6 0 4

  • this song simply rules!!

  • Pure Goa! :D Excellent!

  • dabara

  • man with out name is the best fuckin trance i ewer heard

  • his good; astral's better tough

  • I personally think man with no name is better in ways.

  • mvnn is better for listening at home. more fluid and softer then astral. best for closing your eyes and fiy a feet above the bed. BUT; i went to a astral rave a couple years back and i still have flashbacks every time i listen to them at home. felt unreal, like my brain and eyes attached flew around the hall. i never use drugs, but ii never felt like then. before or after

  • people (really) can fly ;)

  • haha. ok, astral in the 90´s yes. but the album Amen and after is totally fucked.

when astral P was going under the name SFX for example, that was good times. but astral now these days. no way dude.

  • so awesome!

  • nice trance music...loved it..

    thanks

  • I love this song so much, totally reminds me of the old days of Trance. :) Nice to finally know the name of it. :D

  • This is from the first CONCEPT IN DANCE cd released back in 1995. Early MWNN ( Martin Freeland) really set the standard - original and innovative.

His music is such high quality that it still sounds fresh today .

  • Oanekfold used it 2 years prior to that in the Goa Mix

  • I stand corrected....said the man in the orthopedic shoe !

Actually Concept in Dance came out in 94 not 95 as stated previously.

Apparently Oakenfold's Goa Mix came out in the same year - 94. I remember it for sale in the Cream shop for 20 quid ( which was a major piss take at the time ).

I don't even think this track was around in 93? But then I again I stand to be corrected - in 2 orthopedic shoes !

  • haha.

I just noticed how i spelled Oakenfold?

    Musta been drunk.

Anyways Goa was first released on BBC Radio one in December '93.

It was released in 94 tho

  • ur songs rule

  • this was orgasmic.

    awsome vid/song ^_^
