Fuck the reviews of his latest concerts.. He came to a town where I live... I listened to the concert on audio and it sucked donkey balls. Asshole rose has no voice left ( not that he ever had much to begin with )... you can download some of his concerts of late and they are terrible.... lots of backup singers and Asshole is almost whispering... no voice left in him... he could never really sing... just scream... but he cannot even do that anymore.

It's a good rockin' tune in D, like this version, and it's a nice homey cowboy tune in C, like Townes would typically play it. A nice simple three-cord ballad, the heart of rock & roll.
