They met on an elevator in Milwaukee, and the course of American popular music would never be the same. Surely the Everly Brothers career would not have been nearly as big had they not met, and there would be no "Rocky Top" at Tennessee football games.
hey rock.. AMAZING SONG & collage (Felice is GORGEOUS at 0:50 sec).. but can you provide any more info about this song because i'm having trouble finding anything. like what year was this recorded??.. and what is up with all the skips?? this song is incredible.. I just can't find it anywhere else... help me out please!!
I remember socializing vicariously with their son Del Bryant when I lived in Nashville, who is now the CEO of BMI. I also find the couple fascinating and wish I could have met them.
Better songwriters than nearly all I can think of. Their work is so astounding, varied and prolific. The chord changes in "Sleepless Nights" alone are worthy of a college course. I hope they knew they were loved and respected.
