i hate to break it to you the vespa and the ruckus are both chinese all you are paying for is the name thats it!my 08 kinroad 50 cc scooter goes 45 on flat ground.
What chinese scooters (especially those bought online) don't have is the post-delivery inspection and higher quality minor components that you'll find for more expensive purchases in big names and dealerships.
the aprilia sr 50 is only 50cc and it gets up to 50mph, my kymco super 9 is a 50cc and it gets up to 48mph, i have a daliem cordi 50cc and it gets up to 53mph. for someone trying to get advice about scooters your doing a horrible job, u can get many name brand scooters in the 150cc range for under 2000 dollars, those motorcycles u listed cost alot to keep them going, a pair of tires for them could cost as much as 4 car tires, and many other costly things, scooters are low maintenance
Chinese scooter quality is improving, but still be careful. One good Chinese scooter is the Powersports KMD ITA 150, but if you have the bucks, buy a vespa.

Also my Vespa has 12" wheels and there are scooters with 14" wheels.

50cc top out at about 40MPH not 30MPH.
kb3gjp123 2 years ago
@kb3gjp123 Depends on the scooter and the weight of the rider.
