@RegeroTerra havnt lost any yet but have had to dig a thew out, they do get a bit of kicking from the rabbits if they back em to a corner.

great use of your ferret and dog. my dogs are great at catching prey but my ferrets not sure how to start them. they are to playfull i think. did you train yours? i know its supposed to be instinctive.

@FixedByDoc thanks buddy, down to basics , i would always put new ferrets down with more experienced ferrets, after a thew outings they will get the hang of it, but you do get good ones and great ones and you also get not so good ones, alot of it is in the breeding.

@cabelasportsmen rarely a problem, they know when they have cleared the warren and come back out, on the odd ocasion they do make a kill down, we send in a ferret with a locater collar then dig them out. cheers.

@Cyb3rFr0g13 hi there, no need to train ferrets its there instinct to hunt for food, but they do get better and more experienced the more you use them, some times just the smell of a ferret in the warren is enough to make the rabbits bolt, but some times you get ferrets that are just useless and would rather curl up and go to sleep then you need to find a new member of the team, how ever with good ferret breeding , you shoudnt get this.
