Thank you:) I will write you soon. I especially like the way you contol the unit from the piano keys instead of having to us a seperate keyboard-sort-of-thing. This way the control can be intuitively incorporated into ones playing style....great:) But it does take up the bottom C or some other key that you then cannot use to play the music, right?
Very nice! I improvise all my music on up to 7 synths at the time so this is definitly something for me - I think:) Can you produce arpeggio patterns too that can change with the chord sturcture or is it "only" playback/transpose? And: did you program it?
Sounds like you may like my work-in-progress album called 'A Minor Excursion', which explains how/why the universe started, from before the Big Bang to how it ends. Your music conjures up some nice imagery. See the PhiLiZound web site for full story & music.
Re. Sequetron: No arpeggio I'm afraid, maybe later, and yes I did program it - all hand-crafted in assembler code!
Just thought - a specific arpeggio feature may not be necessary as it's just as easy to play whatever you want manually, e.g. you want a 3-note rising arpeggio, just play the 3 notes once and the Sequetron will loop it and play it back. If you want another arpeggio, either overwrite this one or record a new sequence. They can be any pattern - 4-note descending, 5-note up/down, whatever you like, ....even chords. I'll try and record some more video demos soon.
This should work; you need to set the global midi option 'local control' to off (page 32 in Operation Guide). Contact me via email shown on philizound web site for more info.
Hi, thanks for your interest. It's just a cheap MIDI keyboard connected to a Supernova synthesizer via the Sequetron. The Sequetron is intercepting and processing the MIDI from the keyboard before it gets to the synth. The synth is making the actual sounds. The Sequetron allows you to record & playback sequences just by pressing certain keys on the keyboard. Everything you hear is created by pressing keys - my hands never leave the keyboard! See website for more info.
