Looks like my screen just went out this morning. My computer turns on but there is absolutely nothing shown onscreen. Do you think I should just buy a replacement screen and install it... or is there more to it that meets the eye?

I bought this laptop for my son for Christmas and about a month later he shut it with his IPhone laying on the keyboard thus cracking the screen.
