This comment that Sportage have little room for front dreiver /passenger is just a buls... . I'm 6 foot 7 inches and I found that this car have plento room. I had drive Navara 06 and trust me - I appreciate Sportage much !!!. Take on board that Kia is very light on diesel as well. Seats are very good - half leather version are my favourite. Very good car.

The 2009 Kia Sportage LX, V6, 4WD...Top of the line with leather and every feature you can think of. Is the only version of this suv that I would buy personally. It drives nice and it is awesome for off-roading, despite what you might think this is a great SUV and it sells for a great price.

I hate Kia's. I personally find them to be ugly and typically underpowered. My mom has a 2007 Kia Sportage LX with the 5-speed manual tranny and the 2.0L DOHC I4 and it's slow as balls, not to mention, still ugly.

Kia's are the worst cars ever made.

My dad bought a BRAND NEW 2001 Kia Sportage, and after a short while, it was giving us so many problems, he got rid of it, and replaced it with a 1992 Buick LeSabre with over 500,000Km on the odometre, and still ran like new.

Hell, i got a 1974 Ford LTD that's been to hell and back, and the odometre is about 250 miles away from rolling over to absolute 0, and it still runs great!

So what does that say about your precious jap crap?

most cabs and police cars are american and they are drivin all day and every day. its just rubber and metal .all cars are the same,the key is to get the oil changed,flush trans fluid,radiator ect...... my wife is asian ,they make sure everything is done when it's supposed to be done,paying bills on time etc.......we americans procrastinate when it comes to our car maint.asian people don't and most asians drive asian cars.its not the car brand.

The climate over here is most dusty!! u get the occasional dust storms and temperatures soar to over 50 degrees!! ford is on par with toyota? are you on drugs? who gives a shit what the gas mileage is, or crash test rating, most fords aren't even reccomended in consumer reports, and the escape wasn't because of the unsafe braking distance, almost every honda and toyota is reccomend. I have a honda with 289,000miles on it, try that with you escape!
