  • I LOVE this song! Sesame street is promoting Anarchist ideas, probably without even realizing it. You have the community getting together and doing something good for their community. They are doing it without the involvement of the government or a corporation. :D (A)

  • DIG IT

  • So the lady is producing the hole, and the guy is producing the seed. Suggestive!

  • @Invaderjes: For the adults watching. Making jokes adults would get but yet keeping it family-friendly. XD

  • @EliasVideoProduction

Whose voice do you think would fit the singer?

  • @MrMetalmanRock - I think Frank Oz or Richard Hunt could give him voice, or Chris Cherf or Joe Raspo maybe.

  • This song was always in my head when I was a kid!

  • Two people dislike cooperating.

  • Collectivisation!

They don't even know what the word "Cooperation" means.

They have to reach for a dictionary.

Advocating community gardens long before it was the thing to do. Awesome!

  • This is my earliest musical memory. I'm a classical musician now to make my living. THANK YOU for planting the seed!

  • jmarquar- I think this is amazing. I once read a comment on "sesame streets opera singing orange"video clip. A youtuber said she saw the clip when she was 3yrs old and it influenced her to become an opera singer! She's now 40 yrs old. It's amazing what can influence you at such a young age.

  • @jmarquar same boat here my friend same boat just different paddle. I am into hip hop

  • @jmarquar this is were my music interest started. I am now also a Pro musician in a Rock band in england. :-)

  • You could be right, since it looks like their garden is in the middle of 1980s Queensbridge!

  • Is it just me or does this song sound a lot like the "3-2-1 Contact theme" song??

  • the puppet on the left hand side at 1:04 really reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite...

  • i would make this my wedding song

    lol

  • haha

  • Dig it! ^^!

  • Is this a knock-off of another song from that era? It sounds like something I heard on the radio when I was a kid.

  • You might be on to something there! The beginning of this song reminds me of the song "Born To Be Alive' by Patrick Hernandez from 1979, but maybe that's just me.

  • Aww don't call it a knock-off! Call it a remake. It's brilliant!

  • I love this song!

  • yesssss the memories it's all comin back to me! haha nice song!

  • The Guy's voice also changes! First it was Marty Robinson. than it was Noel. The first Lady was Pam Arciero, but I can't make out her second singing voice.

  • @funkyhunk

Actually, the first lady singing was Ivy Austin. Later, it turned into Cheryl Blaylock

  • I love this song! ^-^

  • VIVID memories from childhood.... I adore this song!!

  • its weird the girl raking in the back changes her voice in the 2nd part LOL
