  • Thank you so much for the video! How long is the Induction phase and what are the other (3) phases? I want to start to day and don't have the book yet! I also sub'd your channel! 5 stars!

  • love the video! thanks for making it!

  • is the cd set different from the book?

  • @liesehaley Yes it is, the cd is a lot more strict and you have to start with the induction, but with the book you don't have too : )

  • your welcome!!

  • Very helpful, thanks!

  • good luck to you jay....:) im not promoting that im doing it untill i do it for a whole week :)

  • No problem and thanks : )

  • Good luck you can do it. I am cheering you on. My husband did Atkins and lost 50lbs. I learned a lot from reading the Atkins book.

  • I dont understand how that Ken's Creamy Caesar dressing is zero carbs because I saw that is has sugar in the ingredients. Sugar=Carbs. Maybe it's real low per serving they can say zero carbs but if you have more that one serving then you will definitely get some carbs. Just a thought.

  • Hey Sweetiepie1018, Yes like I mentioned in the video sugar is so low on the ingredient list that it did not have an impact on the carb count that's why it was zero. If you were going to have 2 servings then I would count it as one carb.

  • @sweetiepie1018 i think if carbs are under .5 per serving they can use 1< or something like that, or ever a zero in some instances.

  • @BJ1047 This is really good to know, thanks for commenting : )

  • Thanks for clearing up the myths concering low carb lifestyle. I look forward to seeing your journey. Nice haul. Take care. :)

  • Thank You Sistah! I appreciate your comment.

  • wow those dressing are high in fat...I didn' know they were that high(18g and 20 g). I'm glad you showed those. So, the fat grams don't have a impact if your doing Atkins? I know it's not a low fat diet...

  • Instead of eating excessive amounts of refined carbohydrates which have caused many of us to become insulin resistant, the Atkins diet is low is refined sugars and carbohydrate. So, the body then uses fat for energy. Eating healthy fats and oils are encouraged on the Atkins diet, since it will be our main energy source. High carb diets and refined sugars are the main cause for the obesity crisis we now face. Hope this helps to answer your question. Thanks for commenting : )

  • Oh ok, which make a great deal on sense. Thanks for explaining.
