@americanhellcatf6 Eric Crouch did everything but the defense was shit, that's the reason they got destroyed by Colorado 62-39 and Miami 37-14(National Title Game) in 2001, the year he won the Heisman, the defense didn't defend in those two games they got lazy, Crouch and the offense did not

@GENERALSPARTAN27 Yes, I agree with you. The defense was good but not great and the Colorado, Miami games really exposed their weakness in facing teams like the Canes who had great speed. Crouch was the Nebraska's only weapon in the Rose Bowl game, he proved his toughness in taking hit after hit and still getting up to run the next play. The Heisman was not a gift to him, Crouch earned it in 2001 with his outstanding and hard play every game.
