Hi David -- Thanks to You Tube I discovered the movie The Dambusters and also "Coming In On A Wing and A Prayer" .... so appreciated your playing these "oldies" from WWII era!
I've also learned about the Blackpool Wurlitizer and am a fan! Give a look and a listen to ATOS (American Theatre Organ Society. It offers their radio .... which plays 24/7.
Enjoy the tunes from the '30's and '40's .... don't hear them much these days but are so enjoyable! Thank you for your music.
Thanks for the tip about the radio (ATOS). I get my fix of organ music with the Organist Entertains. I listen online every Wednesday, that day after the programme goes out live. I can now listen to the ATOS radio as well.
@thinggybob Thank you for watching. My keyboard is a Yamaha 7000. I have had it for more than 15 years. When I bought it, it cost £2000.00, It was the flagship keyboard at the time. I would be lucky to get a tenner for it now. Over the years I have fitted three internal full length rubber pads, the ones which detect how hard or soft the key is played. I think I wore some of them out playing vibrato.Your tyros has wonderful sounds you would expect 15 years after the7000.
@forwardtenth Hi you got a nice organ sound there just brought the dam busters music for a quid! so will give it a go Yes the tyros is good but broke just 12 months later had it repaired under guarantee but at nearly 3 grand you would expect better service, I own a couple of technics one keyboard and one full size organ as well, picking them up cheap when money permits keep up the great work!
I love how you put real effort and chararcter into when your playing... Im in the process of teaching myself this! Its going ok! I will post a video responce of my attempt!
@john1801rambo Thanks for listening. I tried my best with the keyboard mixer and controls but I suppose I was hoping for too much. I had hoped that the uninitiated would think it was an Avro Lancaster Bomber from the 617 squadron flying over my garden. Wrong again !
