I'm so glad Mariah decided to do another X-mas album given how classic her first one has become. I have been jamming out to this since late September and I don't even like Christmas like that. However, there is something about Mariah's voice singing X-mas songs that makes you feel like you are home. I am deployed now and will be when this drops, but I've already been subjecting co-workers to this catchy number. I spread the cheer earlier than others I guess.

This is ok, but I like her older style of singing. It had a richer soulfullness to it, very tender and inviting. Now she sings in a whisper-like style. In anycase, I'm looking forward to hearing more from this new Christmas album. The first one was the best selling Christmas album of all time...so says the lady on HSN. :) I don't think Mariah will top that, but I'm hoping this one is excellent.

Definitely could have done without the beginning crap (0:03 to 0:14) and when it's repeated again later in the song. I like the song but I just wish they would take that part out or at least take it out for the radio version. Don't get me wrong, I love r&b Mariah... just not at Christmas.
