You are quite the pianist.. I must admit, I came searching for a backing track to play my Ocarina too. I was quite comfortable at first. Then suddenly your improvisation took over and I couldn't continue. o_o You have a really lovely talent here. :)
@BrixXSM Thanks for the comment. This isn't my improvisation though :) It's piano collection version that is released on different piano soundtrack of ffix. I learned this from sheets.
Thank you :) PM your email address to me and I'll send the sheets. When I recorded this I had been playing about 2 years. Now I'm planning to redo this with better sound quality :)
this is great, i was just reading through ff9 piano collection on my laptop and i remember this 1 from ingame its the best melody on it, i sight read the first few page up 2 about 2mins wanted to hear how the rest sounds, you did a pretty impressive job, its never easy to read the jazzy improvisation in these pieces. the kalm village 1 from ff7 is also very nice.
Yeah i think this is the hardest piece i've ever learned. Completing the whole piece took about 3 months with my skill level. Good luck with it! Post a video response if you learn it :)
This song, while it's peaceful, has always struck me as a little melancholy...it sounds a little nostalgic, like something that makes me think about the past and childhood.
I learned first two parts pretty fast long ago. Then i had long break before i started to practise other parts. The last parts were really hard to play and it took about two months to nail them smoothly.
Now that i think of it...the 'squeek' really sounds like the windmill :D
This is really complicated song and making a tutorial video would take a long time. I'm sorry but i don't have time for that right now. I suggest that you learn to read sheets well and learn this by yourself. Or maybe you should try to play the easier OST-version first. Anyways thanks for watching. Cheers!
That shqueek is the chocobo!

If you record the sound directly from the phones or out line, you can get a better sound quality.

Awesome playing!
This song is so bloody hard. How long did it take you to learn the jumps in the left hand? Those screw me over.
