  • The Music is from Raise the Titanic.

  • This looks interesting...just don't let JJ Abrams anywhere near it.

  • Just beautiful.

Too bad this sort of thing isn't seen on the big screen. Absolutely gorgeous, including the Starbase/Starfleet HQ.

  • And people say that the Jeffries design wouldn't look good on the big screen -- BAH! They haven't seen this! That ship has always been beautiful, and I think its treatment here is the best I've ever seen.

  • I really hate how the guy behind New Voyages/Phase II handles the camera. Zooming and panning and all that crap that wouldn't have happened in the 60s.

  • Love the music, and love the video. Great take on a classic, and a fantastic way to give new light to one of the most beloved Ladies in the Star Trek Genre.

  • That piece of music, by John Berry is actually from "Raise the Titanic". Great choice still.

  • The music was, is, a perfect compliment to this piece. Nice.

  • Beautiful just beautiful!!!!

  • I miss the old enterprise.

  • Creation bless the BEST ship in the known universe. The U.S.S.ENTERPRISE...Second star to the wright and onwards FOREVER!!!

  • "Well, this is a new ship. But she's got the right name. Now, you remember that, you hear? ... You treat her like a lady, and she'll always bring you home."

Very good scenes compilation from ST New Voyages / Phase II, and touching music.

  • excellent choice of music for this video!!

  • I like The Motion Picture Enterprise better.

  • Very Well Done!!!

  • this fan film may of had its drawbacks but its got a combo of the best breathtaking entertainment combined with sci fi action and adventure.

  • Scott Gammans/Gene Rodenberry's Enteprise = a reliable workhorse with teeth

yea i was wrong when i backlashed all of those JJ Abrams haters about defending JJ Abrams's Enteprise

JJ Abrams's Enteprise= a deformed hotrod with something that almost looks like its been copied from Han Solo's ship

but THIS Enteprise manages to keep the true meaning of star trek goin n after all these years since ST11's launch along with the re mastered TOS epps

its good to see all these fan films using this.

  • @FLAME4564 LOL!

I just wanted to drop in and clarify one thing: I did *not* model this particular Enterprise, nor did I render these gorgeous images. The talented modelmaker and animation artist are not I. (And bonny good job they've done, by the way!!)

  • This is my favorite compared to it's movie cousin. The movie version diminuated the nacelles too much and shortened them. Part of the grace of the design is the long overhang of the ROUND nacelles past the shuttlebay, and feature to which they returned in designing the STXI "new" Enterprise. The Movie Constitution class is nice, but it looks like its wings have been clipped.

  • My favorite is the re-fit Enterprise, too...I like it's lines with the warp nacelles and pylons. They blend so nicely into the rest of the ship, it looks like it's doing warp 6 just standing there.

  • When Gene Roddenberry and Matt Jeffries designed this ship, I wonder if they new they were designing something that (even though successive versions of the enterprise differ) is both visually stunning yet so graceful. Though I love the Enterprise-E, My favourite is the Re-fit Enterprise/Enterprise-A. They just have something I can never put my finger on!

  • Awesome job !! The original, only better !!!!

  • Star Trek, The final voyage. The starship Enterprise, ARK CLASS, with its mult hallo deck bridge, pass warp speed demisonal engines, multi fassic wepons, interier walk through door transporter, multi cultual bridge at the controls, total interier living conditions. It carries the lastes hallogram planet making core. It's duty, to jump to and explor galaxies. It purpose. To garantee the continuance of life.

  • The power of great 3d artists, and the software they use, Lightwave 3D.

  • "She's a beautiful ship, and she carries the right name. And as long as you love and care for her, she'll always bring you home."

  • Comment removed

  • When are the next episodes being posted, does anyone know?

  • Please someone do a fan edit and replace the JJ Abrams Enterprise and replace it with this angel we love!!!!

  • @Megatron65 Unfortunately not even the real enterprise can fix the movie.

  • @Megatron65 Having watched the new ST movie I noticed something very reassuring towards the end of the movie when Enterprise rescued itself from being pulled into the warp well. The ship flashed from the beautiful ship we loved from the OST series back and forth from the ship in the movie. I think we may see a reemergence of the Enterprise from OST in the next ST movie from JJ.

  • WOW. AWE~INSPIRING.

  • As long as cannon trek is gone, trek is carried out by the fans, and what a good job they do. Take this as a hint paramount, look at the comments, see what the people want!!!!!

  • Hey, slow down! This is a "no warp wake" zone.

  • The video graphics are great. But when I hear the music I think of the Titanic coming to the surface.

  • Moonraker?!, I could swear that's from Raise the Titanic?, Oh wait, the end title just came up

  • CITY OF PRAGUE PHILHARMONIA, LONG LIVE TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC! :D

  • Someone in here PLEASE answer this. I love new voyages and know that Paramount would have a major hit on thier hands if they brought New Voyages from the Web to Weekly Tv. Are they ever gonna do that? Who wants to petition Paramount?

  • YESSSSSS!!! This is an incredible starship in an incredible new show. THe special effects in here are better then Star Trek Remastered!! WHos with me on this one?

  • @RedPortiaOne. I believe you are right. The special effects in the Star Trek Remastered series were done with 3ds Max, while New Voyages uses Lightwave 3D, the same software used on Battlestar Galactica, Stargate, Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek Enterprise. Lightwave has it's own "look" to it. Having used both packages, Lightwave is my weapon of choice. Maya was used in the new movie.

  • @Humbertusmarius Thank you for the information and verifying my hunch :) I purchased the Remastered boxed set and have always been a huge fan of Star Trek TOS and even more so now that it was Remastered. I wish remastered however would have used Lightwave. Perhaps they didnt because they wanted a more 'traditional' TOS look. I really love Mr Cawley's New Voyages and was wondering if you knew if Paramount has any plans to bring it to weekle Tv? I know they would have a major hit on thier hands :)

  • @RedPortiaOne. I think the 3D software used depends on the production house that is contracted to do the CGI. I heard somewhere that the Battlestar Galactica people tried using a studio that used 3ds Max for one of their seasons and the result was a dismal failure. They ended up going back to the Lightwave artists. I don't know of any plans to bring New Voyages to weekly TV, although that would be amazing! I have constructed my own TOS Enterprise, for my portfolio and it was a labor of love.

  • @Humbertusmarius In the old days instead of a CGI production house it would be a SFX house using actual models. The Battle Star Galactica information is fasinating and must have been costly. Well if you ever do heay anything about New Voyages comming to Tv or any Trek for that matter, please drom me a message in my Inbox, and I'll do the same :)

  • @RedPortiaOne. What I do know is that New Voyages and other fan productions cannot make any money from the Star Trek name, they don't have permission from Paramount I guess. If I hear any news I will let you know. Best.

  • That was pure magic! It was awesome seeing my favorite starship soar in so many incredible settings... fantastic accomplishment...

  • Bravo! Those camera shots and Enterprise's interaction with the environment was fantastic. You should have worked on the TOS remaster.

  • beautiful ship indeed!

  • fantastic work. Love the shot of Kirk and Spock walking on the Nacelle

  • Spock boy had the nerve to block me without even having the balls to explain why......gee I guess some Trek nerds take their science fiction a little too seriously.

  • This is an awesome and triumphant vision that we could all sit down and watch for years to come. The craft, stations, the busy behind the scenes of the enterprise makes it all most realistic - this is great! Lets add the characters in and try this on television? please?

  • i have tears of joy

    please bring back star trek

    i hate reality shows

  • @GARY42353 Yes Paramount needs to bring back Star Trek. New Voyages would be a huge hit with James Cawley as Kirk. Its so sad that its been almost 5 years since Enterprise went off the air. TOS has always been most Trekkers fav, and I know that the time is right to bring it back now, specialy with the recent release of Star Trek Remastered. What do you think Gary?

  • This is beautiful!!

  • Nice work. How did you accomplish this? I have an interest in spfx.

  • Cool I wish another series would come out. I know its Blasphemy but It could be in the universe of the latest movie.

  • I actually enjoyed the new trek movie. It was a fun little flick, though it was made for the new sci-fi generation which craves action and not adventure. But the new movie is not better than Wrath of Khan.

  • Very well done video.

  • Awsome. It is the way I always imagined what the star trek universe should look like.

  • I hafta agree with patrioticpitbull06's comments.

    Just downright beautiful!!!!

  • I litteraly loved the Enterprise....check out video response.

  • "She's a beautiful Lady, and we love her."

  • @1701Tex Abrams should'a used this enterprise for his trek movie.

    It's the best one!

  • @1701Tex Forty-five years and she's still as graceful as the first time we met her that evening of September 8th, 1966. =)

  • As a modemaker, I,m not a big fan of CGI, but this video is so outstanding that I connot help but comment on it. The combination of ENTERPRISE images and the theme from RTT is enough to bring a tear to an old Scotsman's eye!

  • A masterpiece!!! Congratulations!!!

  • She's a beautiful lady and we love her

  • This is damn good!

  • pretty cool. Tho the ships are all flying kinda close to each other.

  • Amazing work! Thanks for sharing!

  • all i can say is wow!

  • WOW. That's all I can say... Well done.

  • this is frickin amazing.

  • heh just to let u know i think there is a modpack for an old game called star trek Bridge Commander that has this ship i think :D aswell as the other TOS versions.

  • legacy has this ship to DOH

  • Greate job with the gretest ship of all times in its best times.

  • Pretty cool. You should make a new one using the Star Trek XI re-design

  • Fantastic!

  • Very nice beauty shots of TOS Enterprise ... I like the warping out sequences, very clean.... whish it could have been done in the 60's

  • Now THAT's what the original Enterprise is supposed to look like! Well done!

I should mention that it would be pretty hard to restore the ship, since it was completely destroyed at the end of "ST III: The Search for Spock." However, you could easily set this between the original series and the first movie. Plus, the Enterprise was already pretty old when Kirk took command....

  • On behalf of our team, thank you!

And yes, our episodes are set in what would have been Seasons 4-5. Check our our website for more.

    Best,

  • holy shit that was sweet

  • I see you used the music from "Raise the Titanic" rather than "Moonraker." Either way, both are beautiful John Barry scores.

  • The music is from "Raise the Titanic" not "Moonraker".

  • At 2;07 is the best idea. Instead of placing lame wanna-be doofs in the place of the bridge crew, they should be digitally inserted. No live action at all.

I cant stand no-talent newbies trying to be spock and kirk.

JJ Abrams has the right answer. Dimensional shift and change EVERYTHING, or change as little as possible.

  • If you notice in 2:55 there is a federation class dreadnought hovering right next to the drydock the enterprise launches from. Those pack more firepower than even the constitution class ships.

  • Well, than MOST Connies maybe. But we've learned that the Original E seemed to far exceed her design specs.

  • nice

  • Now a really "Trekkie" episode( set post Voyager) would see, some alien invader disabling all the current Star fleet ships, and guess what? They had to put the old museum ships back into service as a last line of defence. Even get out some of the old crew.

It wont be long before someone with a PC would be able to put an episode /series together, including crew, that is indistinguisable from the originals,

  • Why is the Botany Bay flying around?

That ship is 200 years old

  • My thought exactly. Though it was amusing enough for me to watch that part twice.

  • the botany bay is a DY 100 class ship. Those that are flying around are DY 500 class ships. they look similar but DY 500 is a 23rd century cargo ship.

  • that music at the beginning is from RAISE THE TITANIC

  • New voyages has been renamed. It is now called Phase II.

George Takei, Walter Koenig & the lady who played Tasha Yarr are in some eps.

  • I think I just had a Trekgasm.

  • This is what Abrams should have done with the Enterprise. Beautiful music to a beautiful lady indeed.

  • This is good, and what Abrams did was phenomenal... you can't relate the two versions in the same sentence. Fan-produced stuff has that air of "special effects whack-off session." That's fine if you're die-hard, but a theatrical movie's got to keep the ball (plot, visuals, etc.) rolling on par with contemporary entertainment. I've grown to love the new look of the JJ-prise. Time to let go of the past and embrace the future. Isn't that the core idealism of Star Trek anyway?

  • But ain't the new movie supposed to be in the past, where there are pre-determined elements to contend with?

  • Spoiler

no, the destruction of romulus and Neros visit to the past caused an entirely alternate reality to be created. The trek universe as we know it still exists. The movie didnt take place in that universe. So any future TV series has 2 options-to stick to the canon of the originl universe, or go with the movies and be entirely new and different

  • My point is, things were different before Nero came back in time. All you need to do is look at the U.S.S. Kelvin to see that. Architectural and technology differences were in effect at that time, ruling out the possibility that the new Enterprise looks that way on the basis of alternate time line. But, to each their own. Personally, I don't like the visual changes even though the movie was good, but that is simply my humble opinion.

  • What you are describing isn't canon. It's a plot device meant to reboot Trek without pissing off the fanbase.

  • a TV series which delt with the cannon universes reaction to the destruction fo Romulus would be awesome-maybe something like whats happened in the books-ok in the books its not cannon and Romulus is still there, but essentially, shinzons assasination of the senate caused a power struggle which split the empire into 2 states-the Rump empire, and a pro federation romulan imperial state. The loss of Rolumus could allow a similar canon plot twist

  • LoL... have you ever seen our episodes? I think DC Fontana, David Gerrold, Jon Povill, John Meredyth Lucas, Marc Zicree & Michael Reeves, and David Galanter (not to mention our own Patty Wright) actually concentrated on writing good stories. Erik Korngold did as well - even if he did throw in a lot of "fanboy moments"

And no, there's no reason to "let go of the past" in this respect. Enjoy the new movie. Enjoy our series. Or... enjoy both!!! It's really that simple.

  • @PopeyeCove I have to disagree with you my friend. What JJ made was an excellent fast paced action movie but it was by no means Star Trek. Paramound needs to stop trying to cater to this action adventure new generation and bring Star Trek New voyages back to Tv. The middle aged generation are those who made Star Trek TOS fly with thier wonderfully human characters and story lines. New Voyages has all that and Paramount would have a major hit on thier hands bringing it back to Tv Whos with me?

  • But the music is from a movie about another beautiful lady that sunk 97 years ago. It is wonderfully woven in and perhaps the second new Trek movie will find a way to incorporate this into the screenplay. The Enterprise should be as in the original series and advanced from that point in her evolution to the Enterprise in the 70s and 80s Trek films. I'd wager to say that fans have been all over Abrams with suggestions to just the effect aforementioned.

  • She never looked better. The way she was meant to be seen. Great CG work was done. I can't wait to see her in her Phase 2 form with the next couple of episodes.

  • a fitting tribute to a beautiful lady

  • The quality of these CG special effects shots is far superior to the re-mastered TOS episodes. Beautiful job! What software did they use?

  • Humbertusmarius: Thanks! Come join our forums and ask our FX gang. I think it varies depending on what scenes and which part of our team (and though I know what software we use, it does vary depending on that).

Of course, having a very talented team to take the time to refine the model and such does help considerably.

  • Excellent visuals and music. Bookmarking this one!

  • Ahhhhhh, the music from raise the titanic. Memories.

  • absolutely stunning. If I was in the US while you guys are shooting. I;d be there in a second.

  • That was great.

  • glorious and well done! best that I've seen of TOS fx. Wish this is what the Enterprise show had looked like and maybe it wouldn't have been canceled. The big Hollywood types never listen to fans and they pay a price for it!!!!

  • Wow! From our entire team, THANK YOU! Wait till you see some of the upcoming FX! There are some pics on the forums from Enemy: Starfleet

Go to our forums (sorry, it doesnt seem to want to let me post links here) and find this:

    SNEAK PEAK AT ENEMY: STARFLEET!!!

  • Fan films aren't really my bag, but to me, this pisses all over TOS remastered. Very professional - well done.

  • this video reminded me of something I had lost while being "out there" struggling with normal life. that dream we have of living the future that star trek showed us it could be. i'm not an expert but I have to say this video is magnificent in my book.

  • I think the way you've cued in the music with the action is superb and that's not a word I bandy about.

Has anyone else noticed how the Enterprise shots from 'To serve all my days', have the underside recurve of the Enterprise saucer section blocked in? Aside from that, for fan films, they're so professional and yes match the 'remastered' shots easily.

  • That was beautiful!

You gus actually made my eyes tear up with this one!

    Thank you! I salute you!

  • the grand old lady has never looked better

  • Wow! Glad you all enjoy our work! That beautiful work is by the amazing "Max Rem", The Dave School, Joel Belucci and his wonderful FX team, and Daren Dochterman.

Hope you all stop by our site to see the newest episode (Blood and Fire) and some downright gorgeous work there!!!!

  • If your want to hear the music in stereo and HQ just type &fmt=18 at the end of the address in the address line and it will load and be in FULL STEREO sound. This works for many youtube videos on here and it REALLY adds something to the video.

  • i like it good job what was the music i know it from some where

  • The video was FANTASTIC and the music was up to the task. Good selection. Thank you for sharing and look forward to seeing more.

  • I love this love love LOOOVE this!! :D The music adds so much, too. Even though it's not from an actual ST soundtrack, the music really has the sound and the "soul" of ST! ^.^

    5/5 and faved!

  • I remember the very first time I saw "Raise the Titanic", from which this music is from, I said then, that music would go so so well with the Enterprise, and here it is..Beautiful!!

  • O.K. Am I the only one who saw the new movie Enterprise and thought 'What have they done?' The original is still the best and this video goes a long way to prove it.

  • Now THAT is the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 I remember. Not the one that they have in the prequel film. Awesome work. :-D

  • Next question is...

Can the human race make it this far without destroying itself?

This 3:29 minute video probably inspires us more than 120 minutes of the upcoming ST 11 movie can.

  • That is excellent. Really great work!

  • Actually this music was used in the movie Raise The Titanic

  • FANTASTIC!

  • that last shot was marvellous

  • I think the warp shots were the best

  • the music is from raise the titanic

  • Hey, what was that music selection from?

  • The answer to your question is at 3:14 of the video!

  • Now that is funny,if it was a snake it would have bitten me. Thanks. I am taking a film dgree through full sail so you would think I would catch that. LOL Thanks nice vid again.

  • Some of that was better than the Remastered Trek I have seen so far!

  • WOW.

That was quite a mixed bag.

Some shots looked very cartoony and CGI while others look absolutely beautiful.

    Great music.

    Good work!

  • raise the enterprise ;-)

  • LOL

  • If Gene Roddenberry had had CGI technology and a larger budget, this is what the opening credits from star trek would have looked like
