This is probably my favorite ABBA song. I grew up in the 70's, had all the albums, and particularly enjoy the longer version of this sing, around 5 and a half minutes. It's truly awesome, as are all their songs. It's really too bad that nowadays people think you have to be homosexual to like ABBA. Far from it, they are, were, and always will be the best. They sold over 70 million albums, I don't think there were that many gay people around back then. lol.
i been a abba fan since i was a little girl abba music is so catchy i am so glad all the younger people like them the abba music has stood the test of time. people will be listening for years to come.
This is not to take anything away from Aggie, but those who say she outshone Frida must need their eyes checked here; her hair in this style was the equal of Aggies, her eyes are better and friendlier, her smile is better, happier and more sincere, her figure is better, or certainly as good (it IS curvier, and her bust is HOT, although I like Aggies straight leg line too), her dancing is better, and her voice as we all know is 100% absolutely as good with its sultry, energetic, meso-soprano.
@TheSpiritofAbbaPart3 Absolutely... for me, Frida wins hands down. Never got why people went so ape-sh!t over Agnetha... the blonde hair and the big butt? Pretty silly if you ask me. Frida have a more classically beautful face, a better body overall, a better stage perfomer and dancer & her voice was always pitch perfect. Only drawback I'd give is some of her hairstyles were bad, but she tended to follow trends instead of chosing styles that suited her face. Voulez Vous era was her sexiest look.

Some guys think Frida cannot match Aggie in appearence, especially in the early years and in the final year. At this mid point of Abba's career that is obviously not true, Frida is 100% the equal of Aggie in appearence.

Yes of course Benny and Bjorn did nothing. Agnetha and Frida wrote all the songs played all the instruments and everything else. Then Benny and Bjorn cashed the cheques! WOW! Thats the thruth NOT! Totally delicious ABBA song that deserved to be released as a single and that was the original intention. However upon release of Voulez Vous they decided to release DOES YR MOTHER KNOW in most countries first.
What a perfect combination of beautiful voices, beautiful song, and four incredibly talented people. Even the perfect introduction, simply, "ABBA." That was all that needed to be said. What a treasure they were for all of us.

i don't know, something tell me that this song is differten to if it...... from the Album. i can hear with more potential the benny's piano in 01:38 than the record studio version, (i think in the video version deleted the violins)and listen the agnetha and frida voices, it's so different that record studio.

This song reminds me of the "NGO-NGA" relationship we established between "Namilyango" and "Namagunga" colleges in our usual social gatherings.
It is interesting for me to note that it is now only this song that reminds me of that socialisation that I always cherished very much.

i don't know, something tell me that this song is differten to if it...... from the Album. i can hear with more potential the benny's piano in 01:38 than the record studio version, (i think in the video version deleted the violins)and listen the agnetha and frida voices, it's so different that record studio.

It was a single in some country,s they had to much material to choose from, they would be their own concurents in the charts so to speak ;-) Happens to more artist, thrown of the first place by an other hit by them selves;-)
