I remember seeing the SKOTs in KFOR. Loud as hell even in neutral, real clunky engine. Better than a BTR with more room in the interior with rear doors. But it really is an outdated piece of kit. Get a VBCI or something.

30 year old? So? mig-29 is more then 30 years old and it is still good plane, you need just upgrade it for modern combat, cos generally it was designed very well, if you will put new turret, new engine in SKOT it will still keep fleeping. So it was just a bad project. Who care about years then?

Very interesting vehicle. Is there some plans to install turret with new weapon system (offcourse KPVT 14,5 mm heavy MG is good.... but armour of IFV is increased now)? For example with 25-40 mm gun, missle system etc.

total bullshit, BTR were and are shits, OT-64 is the worlds first progressive and modern APC, all todays modern APC are copies of SKOT´s conception, idiot, if you are leaving BTR you are intantly dead, because you must leave that through rooftop. BTW SKOT are made on Tatra undercarriage and with Tatra engine, so it means it´s absolutely amazing

@patryk290392 SKOT powstał poprzez współpracę pomiędzy przemysłem obronnym PRL i CSRL. Czesi byli odpowiedzialni za silnik zawieszenie i i część elementów mechanicznych, podczas gdy Polacy byli odpowiedzialni za zaprojektowanie pancernego nadwozia. W taki sposób gdybyś miał jakieś wątpliwości
