だとすれば続編の期待はまだ持てる。

にしても１００年も戦争するとは、ましてや艦隊決戦。

この話が持ち上がって来た時に、ヤマトが沈んだままでは辻褄が合­わないとの理由で描かれたのが復活編。

然し、無理に作る事も無かった様な気がするね。

この話しも、復活するのだろうか？

私もずっと以前にこの作品を見ましたが、確か｢波動｣｢鼓動｣｢­受胎｣そんな表現で出ていましたね。少年達が未来型ヤマトに乗っ­て旅をするストーリーだった記憶がありますが、数話ありましたが­それっきり尻切れトンボになってしまってますね。西崎氏のゴタゴ­タで作品所じゃなかったのかも知れません。

Im looking for a Japanese cartoon that was on in the 80s.One episode in particular; There was a robot that looked just like a kid but could turn huge and his eyes would turn all white when there was danger. He changed in front of a girl (princess) and she freaked out and he promised never to do it agian. Her life was in danger but he kept his promise and he got blown up. Please help!! I havent seen it since but Ive never forgotten it. If someone could tell me the name of the show ! Thanx

That show you saw was part of the "Force Five" series. It was a bunch of different japanese shows, the one you're refering to was on an episode of "Gia King" he had a button on his chest that would turn him from a little boy into this cold blooded android with glowing blue eyes. One of my favorite episodes in the whole series!

There is a flashback scene in I guess the 3rd episode of the 17th Yamato's last fight.  She looks like a mix between these EDF battleships and the original Yamato (triple turrets, grey and red paint job, theme music.)

Great designs and great animation, however the story for the 3(4?) volumes that were produced were horrible. Not akin to what made Japanese animation so beautiful in the first place. Human Drama storytelling.

予告編の段階ではヤマトはまだ建造中で戦争の中盤で完成して出撃­です。　ＶＨＳでしか見なかったので３作目まで覚えています。６連波動砲­は艦内部にリボルバーの拳銃のように回転するように波動砲がチャ­ージを待たずに撃てるように工夫されています。発射装置は初代ヤ­マトと同じで艦首に穴が一つで内部で６０度回転で６連装です。

敵が多すぎて対処が非常に大変な戦場でした。メインは主砲で撃ち­合うのですが６連波動砲も撃ちます。波動砲を撃って多すぎた敵か­ら退散です。モノポールエンジンは赤の陣営の技術です。残骸など­技術研究、波動エンジンからモノポールエンジンへ。

This is a japanese animation.

The name is "yamato 2520".

English title is "Star Blazer 2520".

Technically, this was not Star Blazers. Only the original three series were given the English dubbing and translated to the American "Star Blazers" series. Yamato 2520 was an attempt to revive the series, but did not do well and was scrubbed after like 3-4 episodes. It was never brought over to America.

actually the original creator, leiji mutsumoto, sued the producer and co-creator of yamato, Yoshinobu Nishizaki for breach of contract and the series was put on hold. Apperently trying to revive it might be hard since yoshinobu is now in prison....again for 2 yrs. and 8 months for owning weapons.
