  • My piano used to sound like this, before I fixed it, the strings were ovelapping!

  • I try playing this song on piano. sweet mother of God this song is difficult. even reading the sheet music it is hard.

  • I think it's funny how the arranger of this roll tried to shoehorn some percussion in there. The same kind of thing can happen when making a MIDI file.

  • Who you gonna call? GHOST BUSTERS!

  • @PianoFrenzyHD why? the piano ghosts are cool!

  • @Drummer127 yeah, but they can get annoying at night.

  • That is one hell of an player piano with percussion even.

  • @Drummer127

    >_< I just thought you had a cool idea, that's all.

  • lol

  • If you want to see and hear some GREAT sounding fully-restored coin pianos and orchestrions, I recommend checking out the videos of Youtube users ampicoab and RobertsRestorations.

  • This is not an old piano, this is a newer Story and Clark "nickelodeon" probably made in the 1990s. In fact, I think these are still available. It runs off a specially formatted CD-ROM system called "Pianodisc", with an extra track for the percussion. Everything you see here is using electronics and solenoids to play, rather than pneumatics like most old coin pianos and orchestrions. I think whoever created the percussion track for this CD had no imagination!

  • oh wow. this pianos ollllld. I can tell, it sounds weak and like ready to give up. I give it props for acually still having the ability to work itself like so.

  • its a one object band

  • This is more of a nickelodeon than a player piano

  • scary

  • That piano needs to be serviced. The keys click, the tracker bar doesn't seem to be reading the notes correctly either, and this song is being played just a little to slow.

  • Robot drummer sucks! Dang. I wonder how you tune one of those to play right?

  • i only like the piano part

  • Is this coin powered?

  • Is this coin-powered?

  • i don't know if it ever was, it may have been at one time, but it isn't anymore. it's a display at a museum, and all you have to do is push a button for it to play a song.

  • too slow ¬¬

  • It's supposed to be slow. It says so on the sheets.

  • Actually if I recall, the sheet-music says "not fast". What's 'fast' is subjective. It's a nice roll, but I agree it could be a bit faster.

  • wow if this player piano can play more tha just a piano, then doesnt it make it a smaller version of the 'Orchestron" an Disneyland?(that thing is cool!!!)

  • This is one of those Story and Clark "nickelodeons" that they made a few years ago. They are all-electronic and use a variant of the Pianodisc system. I am personally very disappointed with the performance of this one. Maybe it's just the arrangement, but this one just seems to sag in its playing, compared to a snappy orchestrion from the 1920's, such as a Seeburg or Coinola!

  • I do agree with you that it does seem to sag in its performance. I'm not sure if it's just the arrangement because I heard it play another song and it didn't play that one as well as it could either.

  • wow I didn't know they had percussion in them to,, BTW these piano's freak me out

  • Nice piano but have you ever heard of a tripod?

  • Yes, I have heard of a tripod. I use one when I can. Many times, there are situations where you can't really use a tripod or it would be inconvenient to take one with you such as if you're in a place where you walk around the whole time.

  • There was a sign next to it that said it was a nickelodeon so I just called it that.

  • Cool piano. I'd say it's more of an orchestrion than a nickelodeon.
