also, you can go to the pool area and make sure your bots all get Laser Sights and pick up a pipe bomb and the sword there. Thanks for this awesome video, you helped me achieve this achievement!
You can shove, use molotovs, pipe bombs, boomer vials, pills, shots, med kits and deploy special ammo. You can do this on a level you already have a medal on, just make it to 4 minutes. If your playing on PC and it isn't working, go to the properties of l4d2 in steam and choose "Verify Cache", I believe if it finds a file to replace, that is why it didn't work, try this first if you swear you earned it and it doesn't show up.
@guest2424 no, has to be a new medal, again if you're doing it on a map that you already have bronze, you will have to unlock silver with only melees :)
@RustyWoud My L4D2 game cache keeps getting messed up and i have to "verify integrity" in order to get achievements. I have to do this probably every 3-10 times I play the game, I have no idea why it is doing this, it keeps saying 1 file failed and was replaced, I wish it said which one. However, I do believe I got this achievement with a bronze metal where I had gold and using pipe bombs and healing items, but never firing a single bullet at any time (even incapped).
Great guide. Just one comment: L4D2 has the AI Director; weapon and item spawns are not the same all the time. Play the Parish with commentary to see what I mean.

@RustyWoud Sorry, my bad. It seems the spawns for Survival do not change, for whatever reason. Usually, they do. Anyway, I tried your method. Bots are just so damn stupid! I got to 3:40-3:45 3 times in a row! ugh...
