yes thats a genre. i also do this genre sometimes. its called "Isolationism" and its about experimental microtones. it doesn´t have to be all the time romantic or happy melodic or sad melodic stuff. this genre is more neutral to emotions. its more for the mind to expand it. its more like a astral lucid journey music.
@SilentSphere1 This track was made a long time ago, I probably used Ambience to create the reverbs and all the sounds are recorded by me from various places (train stations etc. hallways etc.). Thank you!
@Skelic ohrly? you recorded them? niiice. i should try that :) but actually now you can download different sounds from some online sources anyway, but prob that's not as cool as using your own ones.
@crysoar9 Thanks again for the kind words and yeah, I think you are right, this could fit a mystery/horror film pretty well :) Some kind of black'n'white mute horror film, haha. (I'm daydreaming again.) Greetz!
Thanks :) My opinion is that on ambient tunes your main effect throughout the whole track usually always is reverb - with it the tracks come more full almost always.
I love this kind of music... dark, unsettling, suspenseful. Does anybody know any other songs like this?

@UntitledKirk Just go search up isolationism ambient ( hence the title )

If somebody is going to adapt Edgar Allan Poe's short novels for films, he or she will need this kind of music for sure.

@NikkiGrimm Often times yes :)

@NikkiGrimm ambient music is all about the atmosphere and the personal condition you are in at the moment IMO

Wow. The best-fitting picture yet. Very dark and enigmatic. Like a Batman movie-scene! Fits perfectly :D
