hey, using steel, even a blunt is tough. using live sharp steel is not the only thing that will injure a swordsman. a blunt can still cut sorta. it will be more of a rip. i think yall did pretty good over all. we live in a culdesac. my brother is one of my students, and we have practiced plenty in the front yard and street. i admire your courage. it is sure fun watching people's faces when they drive by.

Very good staging and shooting. Next time, though, buy some cheap katanas or use the claymore style of fighting.

I take Karate-do and study various sword styles, though I am not an expert in any.

i took Kendo training as well as Theatre (stage fighting and improv)

i have to agree with uffm on his point C.

it reminds me of the sword fights from montey python and the holy graile. but everything else was fairly genuine, and don't worry if people are hard on you for not making the swings more believable, all it would take is one screw-up and you could really hurt eachother, even if the blade is dull, those things are heavy enough to crush some bones with broad side lol. kudos!

A: he was covinently slashed facing away from the cammera.

B: no blood on sword.

C. All swings would have missed if not blocked.
