  • How wonderful !!!

I only know this music by Jeff Beck version in Soundtrack of TWINS !!

Especially, your guitar tone and vibrato are very great !!

I keep on playing guitar for over 20 years,

Vibrato and Choking are still defficult for me....

  • @SalutMusicman

Thanks a lot for your comment.

I always loved this song, that I play also with my Catfish Band.

Vibrato is difficult to play well, I know but you must try and try, ok?

    Regards from Italy

  • @roby62gtr I was just listening to Gary Moore's (may he rest in peace) version on YouTube and saw your version in the next box and thougth I would give it a listen too! I thought it was very good. I liked your approach to the guitar and that Les Paul looks great. What color is the Strat next to the door? Les Paul's & Strats are my favorites. I noticed a bit of your style reminded me of Dickey Betts. Try "Allman Brothers Blue Sky" in the YouTube search box. It's from 1991 in Germany, Betts is 2nd

  • @boblackey1

Thanks a lot for your nice comment.

    I appreciate it very much.

The Strat at my back is an original '74 natural color, that now I sold for a Custom Shop Strato closet classic '69 model, sunburst.

  • WOW!! tremendous cover. you really looked like you were enjoying yourself, it brought a smile to my face!! Im going to play this song for my final music performance at school, so might I ask where you got the backing track from? I only hope I can do it justice like youve done. Much appreciated. Once again, brilliant cover!!

  • @GCFAN93

Thanks so much for your wonderful comment.

I don't mind where I found the backing track. Eventually, I can send a mail to you.

    Still thanks.

  • Awesome stuff! I hope that when i get to your age im still playing and enjoying guitar as much as you do!!

  • This was without a doubt the best version I've seen of this song on youtube. Thanks for taking the time to record it!

  • Thank you very much.

I'm very honored to have received your comment.

  • best version i have seen my compliments

  • Wow!

    Thank you very much.

Very honored and happy to have received your comment.

  • Do you think that the Peavy classic 30/112 tube amp is good enough for led zeppelin style rock? I know you use a more expensive version but I'm just wondering if you would have any knowledge of this.

  • Or should I just save $150 more and get the 50W with all the tube problems I have been hearing about the 30W?

  • I think the Peavey Classic is a very good ampli.

With this amp, you can play every kind of music. The 30 watt is smaller than mine but is more easy to transport.

  • MAN, That was so nice

You should check pappo's version also

    greetings from argentina!

  • Muchas gracias por tu comentario.

    Ciao dall'Italia

    Roberto.

    Continua così, fratello......o forse faccio meglio a dire......figliolo ? :-(

    Ciaoooooo!

    Roberto

  • Cavolo!

    Roberto

  • Very well played, nice to see someone put their own stamp on this, and it`s plain to see you really enjoyed playing it.

By the way that is one hell of a music collection behind you.

  • Thanks a lot for your kind comment.

Yes. I enjoy very much when I play guitar. I feel very fine and hope to transmit some "good vibrations" to all my friends/subscribers/viewers.

Thanks so much for Your support.

    Peace & Respect

    Roberto

p.s. at my back, there is my CD collection, from AC/DC to ZZ Top.

    Richard

  • Hi, Richard!!!

I'm very proud to have received your comment, but Freddie King was a too great guitar player.

He was.....the King, I'm only a honest musician that loves the Blues.

Ciao from the cannonball from Italy :-))))

  • mpravo!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks a lot!

  • Super !!! Comme d'habitude, je mets 5 étoiles !!!

  • Merci beaucoup.

but for respect I would try to write with your language, without use an online dictionary.

  • Giving you a very deserved 5 stars, sir. Couple of possible pointers: a bit more dynamic range--parts could have less volume. Also some parts could have a less biting, more mellow, sweet tone for contrast. Refer to the standard (in my book), Peter Green's version. Of course Freddie King and Dave Edmunds have superb versions as well, with much to appropriate. Me, I'm gonna try to benefit guitar-wise from your very hot clip!

  • Thanks a lot for your comment.

I never prepare my performances and I agree with what you said but I believe that the problem is this: playing with a backing track is not as to play with a real band and sometimes it's not easy to give the necessary dynamic to the sound.

Still thanks for your interesting comment.

    Roberto.

  • excellent Roberto! 5*****

  • Grazie Ivan.

Vado a periodi.

    Ciaooooo
