What makes Islam different than other religions is that it is a religion that does not change with time. Here we have a text that it is over 1400yrs old (The Quran) which has not changed a bit. Firstly, women are not equal thats why they are not in army. Human are God's best creation. It means every human being. Women are equal to men as a whole (summing rights, privileges, restriction etc ). Inheritance rights r not equal if seen separately. In Islam man holds economic responsibility. So men r given twice of women as they have to share that with thr wives. Whereas women can spend on themselves alone.

It also degrades women by suggesting that they are less capable in economic issues compared to men and that's why they are given less. Islam is not challenging women mental ability or st that they cannot earn or do better job. It is just physical power of man for which outside matter are assigned to them e.g. farming, labor etc. Women r better in taking care of home and child upbringing. Both r essential for a perfect family. If man earns money, he is not superior. It is his duty. Similarly if women gives time to her family, it is not shame. Why we think that a working women is more honorable.

A woman doesn't become a woman and a man doesn't become a man just as a result of biological factors but also social factors. The roles are learned or acquired culturally. What makes Islam different than other religions is that it is a religion that does not change with time. Here we have a text that it is over 1400yrs old (The Quran) which has not changed a bit. Unlike the Old and New testament which have changed to adapt with the everchanging life. this book is still in tact, which is the reason why people have such a difficult time understanding it. Firstly, women are not equal thats why they are not in army. Human are God's best creation. It means every human being. Women are equal to men as a whole (summing rights, privileges, restriction etc ). Inheritance rights r not equal if seen separately. In Islam man holds economic responsibility. So men r given twice of women as they have to share that with thr wives. Whereas women can spend on themselves alone.
Hence mathematically in the end men have equal share as of women.

For the math part suppose property is divided b/w son and daughter. 2/3 is given to son. When he share with his wife it gets 1/3 & 1/3. Where as daughter can spend all the 1/3 initially given.

It is just physical power of man for which outside matter are assigned to them e.g. farming, labor etc. Women r better in taking care of home and child upbringing. This might have made sense in some practical issues in the 7th century (though it still was patriarchal) concerning physical labour because on average men and women are different in that area, but this doesn't apply in the modern era since most work isn't physical any more.

A woman doesn't become a woman and a man doesn't become a man just as a result of biological factors but also social factors. The roles are learned or acquired culturally. It can refer to any deity and in fact allah among the ancient Arabs had a female relation called "ALLAT", so the deity "allah" was one of many ancient gods of Arabia. @ingehs No, I am not "crazy", you are! It is "crazy" to be going around in a shroud covering your face! It is the action of someone who is mentally unstable. You cannot love your neighbour if you are afraid to show your face! The Bible says that "True love casts out ALL fear" and "whoever fears, is NOT made perfect in love". Your shrouds are both a product of fear and a provoker of fear. This is because islam is characterised by fear. Even so, it is not required in Islam.

If you are referring to women praying in church, then this was an advice that Paul the Apostle gave to the early church, but it refers only to the act of Praying. It has NOTHING to do with the reasons you are wearing a shroud, which from the amount of times you have mentioned is because of your Obesssional fear or sexual fantasy that men want to have sex with you.

@ingehs Yes you DO need a face to care. Anyone who has spent any amount of time in the Health or Social Services, knows that it is ESSENTIAL to show your face! Anyone refusing to show their face should NEVER be employed in a caring capacity. Also, if you are someone who walks around in a shroud covering their face, you cannot validly describe yourself as someone having judgement that would be accepted as valid in certain social situations.

A nun does Not cover her face and seperate herself socially from the society and she also works hard doing good works in that society helping the poor and sick, visiting those in need etc. This is not the activity of every muslim wearing a black tent and being anonymous.
So the idea is quite distinct. Nuns identify their faith to God and Vocation in and to Society. Tents advertise themselves as 'muslim', and separate themselves socially from society
