@Curseco Game's meant to be uber hard, it's what it's famous for (DMC 1 and 4 are really hard, you want easy, go for 2 and 4). Get past the super difficulty and get used to the combat and gameplay, it's literally one of the best PS2 games out there.

Never got over Vergil because he didn't show up in 4 but some elements of his existance are present in Nero.Was getting my hopes up that CAPCOM will eventually bring back Vergil in 5.

His personality is still fairly similar, he's still voiced by Reubon Langdon, the gameplay is still the same, he's still out fighting demons. The haircut is pretty much the only difference. Other than that he's supposed to be half angel or something, but that never seems to get brought up by any of the people hating on the game.

People don't just hate it because of Dante's redesign; they're disappointed that the original series was ended prematurely because Capcom feels the need to change something that wasn't broken to begin with solely because they want more sales, despite DMC4 being the best selling DMC game to date.

@SolidThugKnuckles No, it's Reuben. He's just doing the part a little differently this time around. Listen closely during the new trailers and it's pretty apparent. And no, the story wasn't ended prematurely. The story was already going nowhere fast, especially due to DMC4.

@seedl69 Regardless of how many people wanted to see Nero again or not (and I don't think he had as much backlash towards him as Raiden originally had in MGS2), there was still potential to make a sequel and continue the series with either Dante or Nero (or both) as the protagonist. I also don't think it would have been that hard to think up a new and original story arc for Dante. And nah, this new voice isn't really close to Reuben at all, which is obvious from the get go.

As for the voice, when you compare the two, they aren't similar at all. DINO's voice reminds me more of DMC1 Dante and DMC2 Dante more than Reuben's Dante.

@DJDesikari he's pretty easy compared to the other fights i can tell you that. just study it's movements and dodge him when he attacks. i beat him without loseing health at least 5 times (it's a fun fight because of the cut-scene after it)
