  • hey can i use hot air gun and can i destroy the chip when im usin hot air gun when the temp. is 300°c for 10 sec ???

  • @linuxgeek81

What did you use to hold the chip after it moved (when you tried to zoom in white paper)?, looks like a window sucker.

  • @anglitoestebancito A vacuum pipette. The chip would be far to hot to touch it like that after desoldering anyways, would burn your fingers ;)

  • aaaahhh this is the video i was awaiting. Thanks Michael for the kept promise!

I wanted to see the hot air station - couple of weeks back you promised and finally i was able to watch it in action ;)

    Thanks man!

  • @Flankymanga You're welcome ;) I didn't show this for some time because I haven't had a tripod, which makes it a litt;e awful.

  • Nice machine Linux, good to have the best tools,,,

    Gary

  • @llewgnal I have a name, you know.

  • @llewgnal In this case, it's low end. But still good enough for a number of purposes ;) Paid about EUR150 for the station.

  • Nice :) any chance on more AVR stuff and perhaps some dev embedded systems?

  • @krizem Sure, I've got a new and serious AVR project coming up.

  • @linuxgeek81 Cool i'm just mucking around with arduino's at the moment but building and programming from scratch so much more appealing. look forward to you new vids and welcome back :)

  • @krizem Yeah I built an Arduino board and almost instantly dropped it after that. Anyways AVR controllers are not hard to handle.
