  • Do you live near there or was this a spontaneous trip orrr? lol

  • I am so freakin' jealous, you guys are so blessed!

  • cool

  • Hey yeah you have to take the leaves off and then blend it, you can either put an egg without the shell and some sugar cube and some ice if you like after that you use a plastic strainer and put it off into a glass and cheers mate there you have it ¨better to do it with fresh Alfalfa and to drinking at first hour to get the proteins and minerals ¨ i was born there i love that place.

  • Angela is soooo beautiful, like Audrey Hepburn beautiful! I love your new life there too. Are you planning to stay there permanently. I'm wishing I were there with you all :)

  • what an amazing life, it's even too much for being jealous. thank you for sharing, look forward to follow your adventures...you are such great inspiration both!

  • Blend and strain in a nut bag.

  • @ponhand - the currency in Ecuador is the US dollar.

Hey - I posted a comment that never showed up; I'll try again....

I go to Quito once a year with my family to visit in-laws. My fav fruit discovery has been Uvillas - what you call Incan Berries! Love these fresh!

  • Just put any greens (leaves and all) in your Blendex or Vitamix with water - then pour thru a strainer. Just like Victoria Boutenko does. Amazing fruit & veggies .... what fun!!!

  • angela looks so much healthier and peaceful since arriving in vilcabamba! So many blessings to you.

  • Can we move in with you guys?

  • Hehe, palillos means 'little sticks' lol...

  • I cant get enough of your amazing new life, I am loving it soooo much, thanks for sharing!! thinking of popping in for a visit

  • Loving your journey.

  • Amazing! Just blend the Alfalfa in your blendtec and use a nut milk bag to strain it.

  • your going to use toothpaste to grow avocados?

  • No, you stick 3 toothPICKS (or small twig's) into the sides of the Ava seed half way down and suspend it in a glass of water. So its half out of the water and half in...make sense? :) I'm sure Angela will be showin ya soon. But it takes 7 years to produce fruit if you grow it from seed like that i hear....

  • Ahhh, that makes more sense. I listened to it twice and thought she said toothpaste, OMG.

  • That cannot be forty cents??? Just blend it into smoothies with the FOUR INCH BLADE blendtec!!!

  • why don't you just put the Alfalfa into the Norwalk juicer? I would think the grinder then press would work on it.

  • im having banana and strawberry ice cream right now! compliments of hurom.

  • Such a fun time!!!

  • It's been so exciting following you guys on your new adventures in Vilcabamba! I'm looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds-enjoy!

  • hey matt!! any good news on your luggage yet ???

  • Matt, your vdeos are way too SHORT!!!!!!!

There is SO MUCH to see. I love your market days, and I wantto see more of your new home. Do you have beds? What have you been sleeping on? I

I've been having dreams of Vilcabamba. I'm totally fixated on your new journey, I cna't get enough. MORE, MORE, MORE, PLEEEEEASE!!!!!!

  • Why donát you guys pay with local money?

  • @ponhand

Didn't Ecuador go to the dollar a while back for their national currency..?

  • I have no clue:) maybe. That would make it easier . I'll check it out. But even with dollar it seems too much what they pay for food.... Of course if they pay for kilos and not pounds then it's different...

  • Yep you were right. Facts i don't know. This makes it very different. Then I think I'll move there too. Funny thing one of my favorite shirt is from Ecuador. :)

  • What is their approach there to spraying to deter bugs, fungus, etc.? To what extent do they spray? Because I assume all of this stuff sold at this market is not 100% organic, correct?

  • pampered chef has a scissor and on the handle end when closed you pull the herbs through and it strips them from the stalk part - try the pampered chef web site - they would be perfect for the alfalfa

  • I'd go on an Incan Berry fast if I was there :)

  • Comment removed
