Yeah sorry but it's over. Voldemort is dead. Sequel is out. The background story before the books was for the most part already explained. Prequel pretty much out. Unless they did a marauders thing with Harry's dad and friends...that could be ok...but it wont happen.

I enjoyed the series very much up till book seven - Harry won on a technicality. There were many mysteries from book five and six left untouched and unresolved in book seven. After book seven I took all my books and sold them at "Half Price Books" and bought a few beers with the money.

If you think about it. Everything was connected. She had a timeline previously drawn out and when she started writing the first book she knew what she wanted to happen in the 7th. Yeah sorry but it's over. Voldemort is dead. Sequel is out. The background story before the books was for the most part already explained. Prequel pretty much out. Unless they did a marauders thing with Harry's dad and friends...that could be ok...but it wont happen.

the ending was never going to live up to anybodys expectations ... nobody could have written an ending that would satisfy everybody .. i agree it was a bit of an anti climax but i dont think it was lazy ... if you dont believe me why dont you try writing a better one and then paste it over your last chapter and keep your comments to yorself....

There cant be an 8th book! The ending was so perfect. JK rowling has worked her butt off in these books. A sequal is to dangerous! LEave these great stories the way they are! Remember those disney movies when we were little. The reason they all died was because they had a horrible straight to DVD sequals that ruined it! dont let that happen to harry potter have a horrible book sequal that could ruin it. Im only using disney as an example.

Final message people - again I was reading Book 7 on the beach while most of you were crying over Cedric Diggory,,,,the 8th book that comes out by surprise in 2009, "Harry Potter and the Drood Mystery" starts off with the Potter kids, James Sirius. Albus Severus. and Lily Luna coming home to tell their father that a new professor claims to know their father personally.

Umm.. she kind of put a epilogue at the end of the seventh book. And I wish that she would write an eight but mostly everyone is dead! You'd have to kill of Ron and Hermione just to make the eighth book! :O But seven is like the most magical number, so I guess there's another reason to leave it seven books. I wish though... :P

I enjoyed the series very much up till book seven - Harry won on a technicality. There were many mysteries from book five and six left untouched and unresolved in book seven. After book seven I took all my books and sold them at "Half Price Books" and bought a few beers with the money.

If you think about it. Everything was connected. She had a timeline previously drawn out and when she started writing the first book she knew what she wanted to happen in the 7th. I mean sure she added a few things here and there, but it was all premeditated. So, for her to go out and write an 8th book...it just wouldn't be the same. Don't get me wrong i'm a HUGE fan, but I think the best she can do is write a book about details she couldn't include in the actual books =]

She has spent sooo many years of her life on these books. I think she deserves a break, it ended very very very well and it's just over. I'm a major fan too, but I think that book 7 was an amazing way to end the series and I'm extremely happy with that.
