I had a problem with my Canon Cameras saying no camera detected on LR3 tether.

Starting working when I did the following:

In LR 3

>File

>Export

>Plugin manager

>Enable- Canon Tether Plugin

>Done

@xROBERTxDAVISx According to Adobe's website, there is only support for certain Canon and Nikon cameras. For a full list of supported cameras, go to the Adobe Support page and search "Tethered camera support in Lightroom 3"
