I just recently got a Ben Nanonote, and I have upgrade the software to the latest upgrade. I am unsure how to navigate within the graphic interface. Some of the keyboard buttons work, but not all of them. How are other people able to access apps and speak of use web through the GUI?
i mean one can live without wifi ethernet card etc or without anything; but today when there are 512GB pen drives are available, why dont manufacturers think that supporting pen drives means atonce u r giving a large amount of storage, i can print from it on a mini printer etc etc.
in that case, i can boot nanonote from a bootable pen drive
dont u think that without usb host support , which is useful for usb pen drive or most of other instrumentation circuits interfacing, means effectively turning off a large large amount of userbase. i cant ever buy a computer gadget which cant support pen drive, these days even car audio players support pen drives.
Wie SÜÜß ... sudo apt-get install nexuiz LOL, egal... wär extrem cool wenn die qi-hardware Typen noch die Freerunner phone Fähigkeiten einbauen könnten.
How many hours depends on the usage. If screen is off, playing music over headphone jack, that can last 10 hours or more. If screen is on, playing video and music over speakers, you would be lucky to get 4 hours.
Plus, it depends on software (need to clock the CPU and system down as smart as possible), and as you see in the unboxing video software is super basic now. Only a few console tools. So you cannot even tell yet how long it will last for real use. Come join, help us port software to it!
no wifi. There is a microSD wi-fi card from Spected (SDW-823) that works, but it's too expensive. Maybe we will order a larger amount of these cards one day to bring price down, but right now the simple answer is: No Wi-Fi.
definitely not. The USB plug is USB device only, not USB Host. So you can only use it to connect to your computer, then the NanoNote can be seen as an Ethernet card from your computer (allowing you to login to the NanoNote, or as a USB storage device (allowing you to copy files), or even crazy thinks like keyboard or USB sound card :-) (not working yet)
