I like your list and agree with much of it. My fave is USC, but Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Alabama and Texas are great and well recognized also. The worst fight song - BY FAR - is that circus song that Cal and UCLA both play. The most irritating game each year is Cal vs. UCLA, when both bands fight over that wretched song. It's not worth fighting for! Oh, I also like Navy and Air Force's fight songs. Oklahoma's fight song is good also. Fight On Trojans!

Dude, I grew up in the South, played football, was in the band so I know my music when it comes to college fight songs. After graduating from Ohio State and spending several years in the Great Lakes area and I can promise you, your order of songs is NOT even close to accurate. I will humbly admit that MICHIGAN easily has the best fight song in the land, TENN 2nd, FSU 3rd, ARKANSAS, then Notre Dame, OHIO STATE, USC, Texas, and some of the others in your list like Florida.

The last time I checked I was told that I'm not tone deaf, but was told by several established musicians that I have a musically inclined ear when it comes to deciphiring lyrics and melodies.

If I grew up in the Ohio hearing only Ohio's fight songs and raised not to like Michigan's fight song, I would be completely BRAINWASHED too. CU's fight song is Fight CU not Glory CU. Glory CU is a secondary fight song. This person used the CU pregame sequence which features 3 of the songs from CU. Glory CU, Go Colorado and Fight CU.
