this looks pretty nice, WinMo with the touch flow aint bad at all. Im on at&t so im waiting for the US version of the Omnia, but this looks like a nice grab for the Sprint users.
Does anyone know if this phone will be compatible with a tomtom 720 navigation syatem. It doesnt state it on tomtom, but there are 3 other htc phones compatible. thanks
O BELIEVE YOU MEE, if this phone has a GPS Chip integrated on the phone then it is DEFINITELY compatible with ANY navigational turn-by-turn program you can name.
Really horrible, looks like the standard windows mobile device. A nice layout, yes, but that's everything. Works very slow, no cool animations, just horrible.

Diamond is nice, but i think that HTC exaggerates all of their graphics Touch FLO actions. I think that it might get annoying to compute with at times. and thats y i like the iphone better because not only does it have TOUCHFLo technology, it's simple and easy to use. with the iphone UI everything is set out simply and more compatible, especially the email and web browser
does anyone kno if i order the version that will hit europe n june unlocked will it work in the states becuase i really dont want to wait .....and wicth phone will be better the htc touch diamond or the nokia n96 ...thanks
looks a little bit harder to use the touch, sometimes he had to re-slide the finger to do something, and things happen a little slower than usual, i guess.
The phone looks awesome but this UI is not as smooth as the iphone's and that's sad... I hope the final version of the software will be improved on this as it has great hardware, gps etc.
This device certainly looks very promising, but the interface still could be smoother. Hopefully, that's something which will improve with future devices from HTC. Also, the more they manage to hide WinMo the better! Hopefully WinMo 7 will improve things immeasurably...

The looks is awesome, but the touchscreen is bad or the CPU is slow. It has a lot of delay!

it seems very unresponsive, the main reason I've been staying away from touchscreen devices

That was a pre release hardware.
HTC has increased the RAM in HTC diamond to 256mb and has also issued a new firmware update which noticeably decreases the lag time in the UI

This phone has a nice interface! Too bad there's noticeable lag time, a downside for those in a rush...

incredible piece of engineering
it seems as though it's more responsive to touchFLO than actually tapping an icon.
i love it

The i-phone is a little joke when you compare it with the HTC Diamond.

The interface looks good, The screen though doesn't look very responsive to the finger taps. I am curious to see how you can type an sms.

but, it's quite nice!

I like how you can simply use it with one hand. Multi-touch is great, but not when you're driving lol
